Haven't actually read his first one. What rating would you give it?

 

And why exactly is that something for them to be proud of? All that tells me is that everything they know about Harry Potter comes from the imperfect Movies, the overly-generous-in-regards-to-what-is-Canon Wiki, and the unholy duo of Fanon and FanFics.

 

No idea but they clearly are, last one I saw was something along the lines of having never picked up the books but absolutely hating them anyway and then followed up by stating they did not even watch most movies.

By todays standards nothing better than 3/5. But it is finished, relatively few grammar mistakes, long and readable. Interesting story line, he tries to creat 3D characters. Try it.

What is wrong with Harry/Ginny?

 

Nothing that wasn't wrong with a lot of relationships in HP. Ginny came across as a Mary Sue, the relationship dynamic wasn't particularly interesting, and the relationship buildup felt like it came out of nowhere.

Within the realm of fanfiction itself, a lot of it stems from people just plain disliking Ginny. Some people also seem to think that, because she dated two guys, she's a slut. Or something.

Oh, and she's a Weasley, so that means she's guaranteed to get bashed in most Indie!Harry fics.

Anyway...

New Pet Peeve: Worm fics where everyone seems to know about and agree with Tattletale's philosophy on there being unwritten rules, and capes just being one big game of cops and robbers. Especially where, in conversation, someone will say something like - "But that breaks the unwritten rules!" - As if 'unwritten rules' is a common phrase people in the know use, and not something Tattletale came up with to convince Taylor that being a villain isn't such a bad thing.

 

Fics where Harry is a smug, smartass brat, and when his Hogwarts letter/representative arrives he's reluctant to go there because he's very concerned about the curriculum that doesn't include muggle subjects.

Everytime I read "the young man" and "the young woman" refering to 15-17 years old.

 

I... don't really see the problem with this. If they're a man and woman who are between the ages of 15 and 17, they would quite literally, in my mind, be a young man and a young woman.

 

Ever talked to a Grandma or Grandpa? They only see two states: 1. Cute babies 2. Young people who are ruining the world

 

Normaly its followed by H/Hr or H/DG true love 5 minutes in the first chapter.

Man, finding true love in 5 mins sounds like my most private fantasy~

And generally speaking, the irony of it is that they ruined the world.
