Still a tad spoilerish, imo, but definitely leagues better in terms of teasing while still being reticent.

Do we know if Aquaman appears in this for any length of time?

I'm pretty sure he's confirmed to be in it.

Once again, toys explain more than they should.

The figurine of Batman in his trenchcoat is listed as the "Knightmare version." Pretty much confirms the desert dream theory.

After Gone Girl, I never really doubted that Affleck could pull it off (not that I was freaking out before anyway). I'm a fan of Henry Cavill too, and I'm liking what I've seen of Eisenberg so far. I don't know much about Gal Gadot, so she and Leto are the two I'm most concerned about. Still, I'm willing to give DC the benefit of the doubt on this, as aside from how spoilery it was the trailer actually showed that the movie's got some interesting things lined up.

I really don't get Eisenberg in this. He's a bit too...eccetric in this. ANd why isn't he bold? He better be by the end of the episode.

He seems much too erratic for Luthor. The guy's meant to be calm and calculating (Not to mention older). I know Smallville haters are gonna complain but I think Michael Rosembaum would have done well in the role. The only problem with him is that he's a bit too...small for Lexbit since he's had experience playing him I think he could have pulled it off.

I read a theory that Lex fits in with the dual persona theme and is an eccentric billionaire to the public and the cold calculating shcemer behind the scenes.

Really? In the comics, everyone pretty much knows that Luthor is a criminal, it's just that there's usually no proof.

I'm not so sure about that, actually. I'm fairly certain the non-superhero community see Lex as a bussinesman or whatever. Hell, there are even times the UN has seen him as a good guy while behind the scenes he is actually giving guns to terrorists. It all depends of the interpretation.

I quite like the idea of him having two personas and, while still a bit on the fence about him, really look forward to his character. Jessie Eisenberg looking up defiantly at Henry Cavill's Superman is a great representation of Luthor's pride.

Ashton: I assume you mean bald?

I dunno about that. There are a number of traits closely associated with Luthor that are very important to his character. His baldness is certainly characteristic of him, but Lois and Clark's Luthor was not bald, and he was a pretty good villain, as much as that show went crazy after a while. The DCAU's Luthor was cold and calculating, and he was awesome, but so was Gene Hackman in Reeves' Superman, and he was fairly animated and faux jovial, so there's certainly room for interpretation. Age is hardly a factor either - as many have said, the magnates of today are more Zuckerberg than Trump, and it seems BvS is emulating that mold.

Ultimately, as long as Luthor is arrogant and narcissistic, with a god complex, a brilliant mind and a deep hatred of Superman, I'm not sure much else matters. And all of that seems to be there, so I'm willing to give him a chance.

As for him being a good guy, there are continuities where Luthor's become POTUS, so...

Zack Snyder's certainly better at fight scenes than Nolan is.

I'm still not sold on Wonder Woman's presence and would've preferred to just have Batman and Superman, but I'll definitely go see it.

Well, the final trailer helps fill some (few) holes in the known plot so far, but god damn if it didn't hype me up even more than the others.

    I'm fully onboard the train.

Fully on board for BvS, though I've largely been so from the beginning. I hope it pays off for DC and Warner.

Well, I certainly can't deny that the action looks spectacular. I'm still not entirely sold on what I've seen of the characterisation though. Honestly 50/50 whether I'll see it.

Didn't see what you guys were seeing till that final shot. The Batsuit holding up to Superman's strength and the look of sheer shock on his face 100% made it.

Yeah but... It's Superman. How can a Batsuit even the odds? The dude punches planets.

In certain comics, maybe, not these movies. His powers seem more on scale with the DCAU's version, who got pretty beat up fairly often.

Plus, I'm pretty sure the part where Superman is surprised by the Batsuit is at the beginning of the fight while the parts from earlier in the trailer (where he proceeds to kick Batman's ass) are the immediate follow ups.
