The use of dedications seems a bit pretentious but they were actually written pretty well. The story itself had far too much dialogue and not enough descriptions but this isn't a review so I'll stop there.

This story explores the idea of Hogwarts as a fantasy invented by Harry, as an abused child seeking mental refuge from his tormentors.
While it is not actually true in this plot line (writing that would wreak havoc on my childhood, leaving naught but smoking, charred remains behind), I do think that Harry, having grown up with the Dursleys and having been called a freak, abnormal, and unfixable on a daily basis, could be easily made to think that it's true, doubting his own sanity. I thought this is an interesting concept, and thus jotted it down for your enjoyment…
The story is literal and descriptive. Please be warned. It includes physical abuse, and it attempts to include mental abuse as well. It has a beginning, a middle, and an end: not just a list of abuses, and in the future other characters from the series will make an appearance, to attempt and fix what has been torn down. Of course Harry's a nobody, no one ever notices the biggest celebrity in Wizarding Britain, famous enough that people look for his scar as he walks past them. He definitely isn't the closest Wizarding equivalent to Jesus Christ. He isn't well known enough to be deliberately targeted in the tabloids. He isn't rich and handsome and skilled. His character in this story certainly isn't just a little girl projecting her insecurity on a fictional character.

It's a pretty standard indy!Harry summer after 5th year story which starts with the bog-standard letter from Sirius telling him about the conspiracy and the moustache twirling Dumbledore.

Oh, and Sirius was apparently an Unspeakable.
