• -At the beginning of the game, is randomly assigned a player.
• -Neighbor watches everyone who visits the player, and knows when the player leaves the house but does not know who the player visits.
• -The player assigned is not aware of his neighbor.
• -Sided with the town.

Don't think I've ever played with this role before. Kind of curious how it mechanically compares but also kind of assume it will work itself out.

Yeah, that's not what we're talking about.

Masons are two people who share a chat and know each other are town.

Neighbors share a chat but don't know alignments.

And Neighborizers make Neighbor chats.

oh, disappointing. so what's the difference between neighbor chats and mason chats? because i've heard of mixed masons before, so alignments being mutually confirmed need not be the case to be masons...

 

But like I said if snow was scum wouldn't he just claim to be mason if he is sharing the chat with Storm?

How do you go from gradually moving off Proph based on his reads / analysis, to the point of trying to turbo onto Jan, and then have an "oh shit" moment because he said he'd self-vote, and then come all the way back around to scumreading or at least being very suspicious of him when he actually does to put him at L-0 with like 30 seconds left?

I can't see him ever doing that as town. Especially with 12 alive. I just can't.

 

one other thing that stuck out to me in that chaos was fonti's line about "he doesn't get to claim"

... he had already claimed town vanilla. it kind of worried me that you didn't know that, after leveling the accusation about him not reading the case against him.

 

Isn't 12 alive more in favor of him doing it as town? Because assuming no extra kills, we wouldn't lose a lynch? So he's not trading his flip info for a lynch, he's trading it for town being down a VT and voice.

11 -> 9 -> 7 -> LYLO

Yeah that's not a ton of difference really.

 

I think Jan's perspective is going to be the most enlightening today. JAN WHERE??

 

With 12 alive, we have three mislyches and a no lynch. This changes with saves, failed mafia shots and vig shots. A no lynch is, accordingly, not that bad, and, doesn't actually help the mafia team that much if the target is just going to die the next Day. Comparatively, self-voting and /then/ surviving with the confirmed town cred that comes with it can be game winning.

Yes, twelve alive is more in favor of him not self voting as town. This is what I am saying.
