Nothing wrong with Harry/Tonks, except for the fact the character list includes Fleur and Daphne. Harem I'm guessing.

The first warning flag here is in the title. Soulmates and capitalization inconsistencies. Second flag is the OC/Bellatrix pairing, and the circumstances behind it. Finding your soulmate (a murderous and crazed cultist) dead and dying and nursing them to health? How romantic... if you think like this author does, apparently. Third flag is the typo (in the goddamn summary): 'news that she's' not 'new shes', and even then it doesn't make sense. Last flag is in the last sentence. This author is depending on ff.net reviewers for ideas. I don't think I need to say anything else.

In the Serpent's Den
Harry finds himself speaking in Parseltongue after a curse strikes him. Draco is a damn fine Healer, and he is assigned to Harry's case, and among discovering the cure to Harry's ailment, he would be required to discover why hearing Harry speak on Parseltongue sets him on fire.

It's a shitty Harry/Draco shipfic that uses magic and handwaves to get straight to poorly worded romantic dialogue and sex scenes that make the dialogue look comparatively well written. Everyone is massively out of character. Draco wears leather pants. And I can tell you all of this before I read the first chapter.

I found all three of these fics by going to ff.net, switching the ratings filter to all and the language filter to English, and then clicking apply. These were just the ones that I found on the first page.

Any fic with "what happens when" in its summary is almost guaranteed to be trash.

 

Funny, I did the very same thing when searching for shitty summaries.

 

I've always believed in a maximum of one rhetorical question and even then that'spushing it. The question should also be much better than "What if blah blah blah" or "What happens when blah blah blah". It makes it sound like more like the settip up of comicvine battle.

What if harry was closer with the quiditch team then in cannon. What if the chasers saw him as a little brother. What if when everyone is treating him like crap after his name comes out of the goblet of fire they decide to do something. What if fleur delacour saw how he was treated and it reminded her how everyone treated her as a vela.

Looking For A Story: Please Help! by Scarlett Seren Potter
Please help me find this story that I'm looking for. All the information is located in the first chapter (even if this is a "one shot", I wasn't sure how else to say it).

I'm not even sure how to criticize this; i'm surprised the admins at FFN would even allow something like this to be posted. Unlike some at least it maintains a semblance of grammar and punctuation!
