Bonds of Time.

I know I shouldn't enjoy soul bond fics but they still get to me. Pretty much all of his recent stories have been shitty harem and bashing fics that play every cliché.

 

If you could recommend a couple of other soul bond fics worth reading I'd really appreciate it. So many of them turn to shit the further to read.

 

I found the Firebird trilogy to be very enjoyable. It's the first and only soul bond fic / harem fic I have ever read. The ending is a little disappointing but overall it was a great read.

Be warned, there's some really, really creepy shit in that. It tends to get grimdark a lot.

 

The only creepy thing I recall is Harry using the map. I thought the poaching/poaching attempts were horrifying but not creepy. Are you referring to anything in particular?

 

The way Luna's Fallopian tubes were healed, for one.

I'm sure there's plenty of other examples.

 

Yeah, if that fits your definition of creepy, then there is a lot of creepy stuff in there.

 

I haven't seen any in a while. I sort of stopped looking for HP fics when I came to DLP and just find what I should read through here.

Bonds of Time is reasonably good; it avoid most of the Peggy Sue clichés and doesn't have any bashing. It's mostly finished. The main arc wrapped up in book 2 while book 3 was going to be another plot.

This part though, hilarious:

A story in which the plot is all about bashing a single, fictional character. What did Ron ever do to that guy to deserve it?

 

That's the problem with all of these bashing fics. The truth is that people can only think of one or two things to bash a character about, and then when you look back at the canon story many times their BS actually made sense at the time.

 

"He had left the girl that he thought of and loved like a sister in the safe arms of Dean, Draco, Theo, Blaise, Pansy, Luna, Parvati, Padma, Lavender, and Daphne so that he could come back to the tower and deal with the boy who had thought it was alright to hurt Hermione. "

Don't you know? Ron is literally worse than Salazar Slytherin, Grindelwald and Voldemort combined.

 

He's still not as evil as Dumbledore though!!!

 

Ohh please get with the time. Ron eventually becomes Dumbledore by using the time turner. He is manipulative enough to manipulate himself in the past.

 

The red hair and the pointed nose are undeniable evidences that Ron is Dumbledore. How can someone be evil enough to be those two twisted characters?
