    This feels like you're deflecting what was a pretty obvious comment, and in a pretty wooden way.

    By claiming priest as I have, nobody will expect me to actually be the priest. So I'm hiding in plain sight.

    You shouldn't claim your role that isn't the priest though. Since that'd be silly and not top secret ninja moves like my claim.

    You can talk about whatever you want, really. Mechanical discussion is ok at this early stage, but it'll be frowned upon in later stages especially if it dominates your posting.

    Quickly, contract with me and wish for fluffiness to post! Words alone are insufficient.

    no. it's pretty oddly cryptic because i don't think there's some obvious motivation behind all of my posts thus far that can qualify as something I 'want to do'

    you really couldn't be acting more differently than last game if you tried. not
    sure what to make of it yet. but this push is uninspired.

    I read this as 'don't make me regret calling you town' sooo early and shortly after you did so that it strikes me as odd for you to feel so married to that read. obviously it was thin, and village can so easily be wrong early. hmm.

    let the waffling begin =/

    I'm certainly not gonna complain about Kai deciding to post more.

    Obligatory 'I forgot fluff was in the game' comment. his fluffiness get in here and protect your reputation! Also your thoughts on, hm. Waco and LochNess.

    dLGN's posts feel more clipped, but I'm not really getting the forced tone.

    Hmm... I'm finding it kind of interesting that the quantity of posts, even if they are mostly fluff, are seen as super towny (or that's what I'm getting). I get that it makes people easier to read, but is that true even if the posts are just talking your thoughts out (like I'm doing) or if there's no content? Wouldn't the latter actually be kind of detrimental for when someone wants to go back and reread the thread?

    Fluffing is okay at the beginning of the game. It only becomes a problem later on when the fluff outweighs the content.

    But yeah, hopefully the thread doesn't get blown up. Even if it is content, Too Much Of A Good Thing is still a Thing.

    I don't think anyone's being townread due to fluff at the moment?

    Fair enough. I've had problems reading him in the past (not recognizing him as town in until way too late cost me big in WH5)

    i was complicit in his mislynch last game. I started to get a towny read on him under pressure and regret not defending him more. idk if I can read himm too well this early but so far nothing too strong either way. i'm sure he could do what he's done as mafia but I don't have any reason to not think he's just town so far.
