Well, I'm pretty partial to opposable thumbs. So no dragon-y type races for me, though breath weapons and wings sound frickin awesome.

Immortality appeals to me immensely; though that may just be the young and inexperienced side of my life shining through.

Vamps. Definitely a vampire. I'm not one for sunlight anyway. Preferably from either the Underworld universe or the Anne Rice vampires. In Rice's stories, the vampires get stronger as they age, and are more powerful the purer their blood is. Meh. Underworld vamps, then.

 

I don't think 'God' Counts as a race, so several of you are disqualified... Now if you have picked one of the greek Demi-Gods we could possibly negotiate.

For me, Definitely Kitsune, Demon foxes from Japanese Lore. Multiple tails, Damn near invincible, nearly unlimited in power. Being considered a force of Nature when pissed would be nice, and being a prankster the rest of the time would be even nicer, not to mention the whole shapeshifting/Primal seduction thing they’ve got going for them.

 

I'd be a Draenei (World of Warcraft version). Because they are blue.

Draconian from Dragonlance. To be more specific the Bozak Draconian. I like the idea of being a Draconian and a Magic user mixed in one with the ability to resist most magics.
