Of all the fantasy 'races', or types of being I've read about, I think the wizards/witches from the HP universe appeal to me the most. Able to function in the world as we know it, yet... with magic.

 

No, They're not the same Person. They're different Persons of the same Substance and Being.

 

I would like to be a Old One from one of the H.P. Lovecraft books, a Maiar or Valar (preferably Valar) from LOTR, a vampire (like the ones from the Tanith Lee stories. They have cool wings), or a Sith/Jedi from Star Wars. I would rather be a Sith and use a double-bladed lightsaber like Darth Maul. And "Darth" sounds so much cooler than "Jedi Master".

 

I'd be an orc from Warcraft, so I could go around singing "It's not easy, being green."

 

I'd be a Mindflayer from the D&D Series. Sure, I'd be ugly as hell, but I'd be able to reduce you to a gibbering wreck just by thinking about it.

 

Depends on how you define race. If it is a loose definition then I would have to go for a HP Phoenix. If it's more strict, well, a dragon rider appeals, as does a LOTR elf.

 

I'd go for an Ori from Stargate. All the powers of the Alterans and no pesky rules to get in the way. I like worshippers too. That way I can outlaw H/G and have anyone who practices such a disaster flayed.

Seeing as how in the all mighty word Manatheron Jesus is "disqualified" and I really don't want to "negotiate" with him either I would have to pick a demon from Yu-Yu Hakusho because they're just so fucking cool.

Hmm, such choices. Way too many to choose one from though. The stargate Ascended being sounds interesting. Yet I wouldn't because I enjoy life as it is. I'd preferably choice such a race that could help make the world a better place, plus to be able to do some cool things to impress the ladies. Can't want much more really.

As always, I'd be an elf - not because they're immortal but god damnit, they have some pretty decent looking COSplayers.

Hmmm..... So many choices,I have three that I would want to be:

a Dragon from D&D--Live for almost forever,able to fly,breathe weapons what more could you ask for,also ability to shapeshift ain't bad either.

a bastard Blood Elf/Dark Elf halfbreed--do you have to ask(grin).


And a Wizard--able to use magic but also be able to live in the day to day world and technology.
