Uhh... I have no idea. I mean at that point if Cobalt hadn't existed you had dLGN clear from Citrus, Citrus kinda "wait and see" from coming out as Oracle, Slip/Kai "wait and see" for competing Priest claims, and you're taking Snow/Loch as policy clear for roleclaims, oh and Plotless was not going to get lynched D1 with a GD claim, so like who does that even leave.

Maybe me or Jan, or like maaaybe Proph? dLGN probably wouldn't have let me get lynched there, Proph wasn't getting much/any heat, and Jan didn't have any hard defenders IIRC, and also IIRC I was scumreading him at that point, so prooooobably Jan?

/shrug, I dunno, trying to imagine the gamestate if Cobalt had never existed is kinda weird in the first place.

Pozzai where exactly are you going with this?

The initial response you had was to make the perfect case to as why Newcomb would always be town, but you completely ignored that day one.

The rest of this day has been you doing nothing but bitching and omgus'ing, you know why my scumread of you stays intact, exactly because of that shit.

You talk about helping town, what have you done since I replaced in to help town.

I do not analyse you only on the two posts I commented. I picked out those two specifically to talk to Newcomb about what my phrasing issue with you was.

What changed since you're not willing to lynch Von day1 when you have a scumread on him, you didn't use to care when you were town?

Why specifically was Newcomb scum to you for wanting to lynch town(same people you wanted to lynch) when Rob was townier for wanting to do the same(lynch people you wanted to).

And what on earth happened from your rainbow and your talk about not wanting to out the hunter earlier on that page to prefering a Plotzai lynch over a Lochness lynch?
You're talking about Lochness being "valid" and how she didn't vote on dLGN, neither did Plotzai, how come we don't get the same "it's okay but I probably wouldn't prefer it" stamp ?

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:35 ---------- Previous post was at 00:33 ----------

These two posts being the ones I talked about but didn't quote at the time.

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:41 ---------- Previous post was at 00:35 ----------

World building, not one that could potentially help you a lot.

I wanted to hear your response.

As I said, I was under the impression that it would've been you.

If we assume this to be the case:

Loch/Von/Newcomb and Loch/Von/Jan worlds are both eliminated, the Jan world for what I said before.

The Newcomb world from the fact that if EXACTLY Loch, Von and Newcomb were the ones closing to the chopping board, a plan for Von coming out against Loch would like ALWAYS happen.

Which means if say we lynched Von today, and he flips scum, I'd enter tomorrow with a mix of the following people(if you shoot Waco as you've expressed, and the game doesn't outright end):

Aria, dLGN, Newcomb, Jan, Kai, out of which I'd plausibly be able to eliminate dLGN, Newcomb, Jan, leaving Kai and Aria.

Is it a bulletproof theory, not at all, but it's something I'd have to work around.

I sat back and didnt do anything since you replaced in, why? Because i wanted others to do some work and see what is happening.
Without additional input i have mostly made up my mind.

Plotless/Pozzai and Snowvon were the two scummiest slots content wise, Waco after that.

Those slots have to make something happening for me today, period. Your slot has known two lives and it is way more important for me to get something on you, but i am not getting that by talking to you about a useless/fruitless accusation on me.

Oh also Newcomb the reason you might not like my interactions with pozzai is that some personal stuff is involved in there as well, nothing to talk about, but it worked as a catalyst at that point.

Pozzai scumreading me without proper reason (in my eyes), is just completly against his normal meta, because he is not good at reading me and i am not good at reading him,and we both openly admit that.

Him coming out with a convinction on me being scum that is just wrong, makes it hard to think he does that as town there.
Maybe he is just bad at phrasing his opinion.

Also coming back to pozzai and the reason (not) to kill von. Let's start slow, i read him scummy but he gave a reason to why he played that poorly day 1.
He said he was just back in his first week of college and in a bad place.
Last time he was in a game and wasn't completly in the right spot (or didnt like the game much), we lynched him, and he flipped town.

This time i wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt day 1, that is why i voted Lochness instead of Snowvon on day 1 when we had both of them as wagons.
He didnt improve his game on later days in my eyes. And now that Lochness is confirmed LC, him not voting on her without a reason is weird (i think i gave reasons for that 1-2 times).

I don't know why noone has taken the time to argue with me about my snowvon read, because several people (proph) read him town, but have nothing to dismiss my argument and have no proper argument to read him town themself.

Why was rob townier? because he is the fucking priest. i know i am not the priest, so i was pretty sure he is most likely, i considered holding the claim until day 2, but i couldnt because several people wanted to lynch rob, and there was no way i let that happen.
Lets be honest Kais claim didnt have the passion to be real, robs did.

Why I was playing with the notion of lynching Useless over Lochness?
Because if that slot doesnt resume playing that i would have felt better lynching it than someone who is at least playing a little bit, worst case we always get a real check by the priest, because we nolynch that day by lynching the extra live, the hunter gets a shot, and the priest always gets a real check.

Getting a confirmed check while lynching someone who is either scum or a town that didnt do a anything to be townread for me, seemed like a possible play at the time.
    Do you diasagree?

Lynching Lochness would not give us a confirmed check there, lynching the first live of plotless would. That is why the treatment is not the same, it is called mechanics and not that hard to understand.

At the time you gave that read on Rob, he was not the priest, it was at the time you chose to vote dLGN over Rob.

    I arrive!

    Newcomb:

Early D1 > was Fluff, did not exist
EoD1 > liked his entrance, didn't really get the push on him for wanting lynch in the Priest CC's and his frustration with it was +town to me, his vote on me made me sad, the 'I'm glad I decided to not care about this game that much' line was +town
EoD2 (this is really D2 general thoughts but whatever) > I think he'd be more inclined to vote for Loch over Waco iff Loch and co. were planning on nudging her lynch into being and LC'ing into Slip? But I do like the vote on Waco in general. Newcomb's vote on me made me sad.
ToDay > Hunter claim & asking to be directed is +town.

    Deffo still townreading.

    Waco:
Early D1 > felt like he was being widely townread for activity? Didn't really click for me both before and after I double-checked the last WH. Was willing to leave him be and see if he kept it up.
EoD1 > have no idea what his reads are at this point, just that he's scumreading Cobalt more than the main wagons.
EoD2 > Pushing on Jan/Newcomb but not with a lot of oomph, ends up voting for Loch for...some reason? Can't actually tell, looking through his posts
    ToDay > Sorely lacking. Kill.

Lynch or Huntershot, however it's gonna happen.

Except, it wouldn't, Lochness would most likely insta-suicide into the priest at that time, something surely part of the mechanics discussion.

You also advocated a Von lynch, which would be the same result as a Lochness lynch, no ?

So who, in your opinion, is most likely to be Waco's partner if the world is Loch/Waco+1?

Jan > I think he started the 'Waco is totes town' thing on D1, takes him a while to actually say why. Reading someone based on activity is fine, but I think he overplayed it too early. Now his read looks like a 'welp, my partner couldn't sustain his activity, might have to bus?'

Plotzai > eh, I like what Pozzai is dishing out. Still haven't played with him as scum, and this is just looking like the FS!Pozzai I've come to know and love?

Everyone else I've eliminated due to being confirmed town or just strong townreads.

Which is a useless point because i did not know that.

That is postgamehero talk - hey your idea is useless because it couldnt work because of specific roles being on specific players at the time.

You are making an argument for the sake of talking while actually just talking out of your ass here. Or i am missing the point?!

The difference between those lynches is that von was part of the dlgn vote, and i suspected a scum in there, and i also didnt like his play.

Lochness was a possible fallback lynch but not my first target.
I am unsure what you are trying to get at, and feel this is pointless argueing aroung nothing and mostly annoying me.

The fact that you Peeped Plotless D1 doesn't factor into your Plotslot read?

You're talking about it being based around mechanics, SURELY Leeroy was in there somewhere in the evaluation, ignoring the chance of that happening and risking getting nothing out of day3 fully seems to have been a MAJOR concern from a town pov.

Lochness was in your same category of scum 50 posts earlier as Von, I am getting at the fact that in next to no time you're swapping that around, which seeing as I know I'm town and Lochness was scum ends up being, how did it go again? "Looks very bad for you"

I don't think it's very telling of anything.

Cobalt was towny, claimed town Gambler when he died, and Plotless confirmed it because...lying about it is significantly harder? So.

Leeroy is always a chance, so is Plotless slot actually being dob not having an extra life and shooting the priest right away.
I didnt think that Lochness/Von would be fakeclaiming because it is risky to do (first game of scum having a spare role). That means even if a Leeroy comes out and uses its power, it would be a question mark that confirms itself as scum, which would be risky and give a lot of information to town.

So i will just play the simple game of ignoring pozzai for a while, if you want to lynch me for it, go ahead.

I dislike playing with him for personal reasons and i will either lash out next or leave the game.
If you guys want me to sub out, let me know. Trying to calm down for a bit.

    Have a good night.

    Right.

So like... you were the one hard-defending Cobalt at EoD, yet you Peeked Plotless. What were you expecting to get out of that? I mean if Plotless was a witch and was going to lie about Cobalt being town, would you need the peek to think that was a lie if Plotless comes into D2 going "holy shit we got one"?

    ok so.

Waco's always scum here - I'm 99% sure he's the DOB pulling a fluffiness special (no effort, die, kill a guy).

I'm pretty sure the last witch doesn't even bother to wine and instead jumps straight into using last stand.

That means waco kills a townfirm, the 2 nk's are on other two townfirms, and newcomb's shot is on snowvon. If the game isn't over, then the livelist will look something like:

    me
    jan
    newcomb
    pozzai+1
(if angels correctly save) a townfirm.

    Is that fine?

With an alternate line where we lynch waco tomorrow or the day after, we can do things like strip pozzai of his extra life, kill him, kill one of jan / newcomb, so we'd have more options before it got to the end game.

    Thoughts?

I'm not telling you off, I'm trying to get a handle on your mindset. I thought you were kidding about literally RNGing it I think? Because Pozzi brings up a decent point about power use although unlike him I think as scum you probably do think to do that? Idk it's pretty wine but something about it seems important.
