Good job town, you definitely did very very well this game!

 

Well that went poorly from the opening bell. I remain a little annoyed I lost any chance of staying inside the town circle b/c of getting snowed in at work for 36 hours, while the thread tripled in size

 

I just wanted to live one more day. JINXED! BOOM!

I only got to get through 7 role softs which made me sad on day one. My 'faith' Jan was town was rewarded. Everyone who claimed Priest was actually town.

So, issue with your plan Kai.

If you wanted kp on me, that day you'd always have wanted a massclaim. The only case this is a worse play is if exactly:

Aria survivalist, haunt+save both on judge the night before.

Your suggestion removes a kp from town (and from your reads increases chance of last stand). Judgekill!Pozzai, hunterkill!Waco, if town DOBkill!Von.

Aria being non!judge gives huge information on apprentice(which you obviously didn't need). As scum!apprentice would most likely have put kp on the judge that night, no matter 2HP-GD alignment, as they'd still need to kill survivalist AND they could freely claim judge at any point of the game.

Non-fringeworld!judge dying in the night basically confirms town!surv and town!gd because angels wouldn't let the judge die if needed for town victory.

If town!surv and town!GD, angel chances of saves in the night drastically increases as they can ignore the judge and focus on the others.

Also in the town!Von, scum!Waco world, you managed to set up yet another winemove for scum if Waco chooses not to shoot the directed target.

 

I already knew what role everybody had, so what I wanted to do was fine for the world we were actually in.

 

For the world we were in, yes, because it never got far enough for it to be needed. You're still wasting a town kp un-necesarily.

Confirmation bias doesn't make it a good play in general, it just made it work in this case.

 

It's not confirmation bias because I was right the entire time.

You were the one operating on less information.

 

You're still basing the judgement on the overall result of the game.

If you're wrong on one of your townreads that game, you risk entering a winefilled day where you relynching me could in worst case scenario lose the game, where as the other play will buy you a guaranteed extra day.

 

Super happy all my goals were accomplished (getting witches to waste a NK, getting widely townread so town doesn't waste two kills on me). Now I'm going to work on persuading people/active scumhunting skills (or scum skills lol) next game.

Is there a place I can talk in detail about gameplays/ this game/ etc at?

 

Well, judging me would've probably been the play, but same result.

While at the same time making yourself look sketchy in case Proph dies.
