AFAIK, Limitless is doing decent in the ratings.

It also doesn't seem that expensive to make so far.

It has been revealed that the next episode, which will air on January 5th, will be called "The Assassination of Eddie Morra".

    Uh, oh!

The new episode was even better than I expected. Seems like the series is setting up Morra as the Big bad.
Anyone else think Morra didn't kill Piper's boyfriend? I couldn't get rid of the thought that there was another player, presumably the creator of NZT playing Piper against Morra. I felt this when Brian mentioned Morra was the oldest person alive using and that just sounded wrong, somebody else must have been.

This is mostly because I don't want Morra as the Big bad even though the ending of the episode seems to paint him as such especially with that his speech to Brian which felt designed for a Brian who had killed already.

I think Brian should not have sided with Piper. I have a feeling she is actually the bad one and we are being fooled.

I suspect that too and Brian probably will discover it when he finally decide to investigate her boyfriend's murder. In a NZT world detective work is his thing.

Strange that Morra decided not to redact his past so to speak. Photos Before and After looked suspicious as hell. Now FBI will know he is on NZT.

Yeah, she was an awesome character.

The only reason Rebecca wasn't offed yet is that Morra doesn't want to alienate Brian, and while it's somewhat obvious that Brian will eventually tell her everything, the finale itself is much more unpredictable. The show's comedy is great, but it does take its dark turns. Nothing like a death to motivate the main character to give his/her best.

    Holy goddamn tits.

    What a great episode!

I think this was the best episode of the series so far.

Like, legit quality upgrade just took place here.

    More in spoiler tags:

We get Sands' backstory, and a lot of it. Brian helps him with his son, so now Sands may or may not feel grateful/good about Brian. Additionally, Brian now knows Sands killed Rebecca's father as well as other NZT users and dealers. This is huge and I cannot wait to see the next episode how this all continues.

I will just repeat my statement this show just gets better and better with every episode. Once again they played with its format and this time used comics to show Sands' origins. I really like that they hired a normal comic books artists for this instead of giving this job to just any artists. It was a nice surprise when I recognized The Manhattan Projects creator's style, which is one of my favourite series, among them.

To think at first I was quick to assume it's going to be another guilty pleasure procedural at best.

Okay, I saw the first two episodes way back when but there's so much hype in the thread I think I need to get to the rest. Do you guys think this could be another POI in the making?

In terms of quality absolutely yes although it is very different from POI. In terms of style I think of it as more of a cross between the best parts of POI and Chuck. A serious over arching story in the background while not being afraid to play around with gimmicks that are actually important and not throwaway gags.

In relation to the current episode, anyone else catch the reference to Blacklist. When Brian was flipping through the black book at the end, he stopped at a page with Reddington's name written there.

Seen the synopsis for the next episode and can't wait for it. The writers are really knocking it out of the park, it is now one of my all time favorite series with episodes I can rewatch without getting bored of them.

Watched the last couple episodes back to back. Last one, as mentioned, was huge. The comics were a nice touch, and development of Sands was very well done and flowed well.

We also get more info on Morra and how he got where he is now. This episode actually did a good job of progression the overarching plot, which is what a lot of shows fail to do in majority of their episodes.

I'm still firmly on camp Morra. Limitless (movie) hype still going strong.

Say, Limitless is an obscure fandom, right?

Well, that's a funny coincidence, given your signature.

I can't say for others, but I for one would enjoy a Limitless fic made by you.

I'm on episode 9 right now. This is hilarious, I can't even. And Mike and Ike fuckin' rock. And the best part is that they're using the nicknames Brian gave them. Lulz.

Well, the Pandora's Box is opened now.

The FBI is going to learn about Sands, Brian has left the country, Morra is not going to like this.

I also read the synopsis for the next episode, supposedly Brian is going to travel to Russia and meet with Piper.
