I ... would perhaps not go that far but I after this chapter, I'm inclined to agree.

I do hope Kurokiba gets the first Central kill, shall we say. That douchebag deserves to be shamed.

 

Best as in, most enjoyable character. She's a lot of fun to follow, although I do like quite a few of the cast.

Would like for Team Alice to win but since two main characters kinda staked a claim on the villain already, might not be the case.

 

I dunno, this guy just kinda seems like a loudmouthed stooge.

Alice and Kurokiba have a reason to be duelling, I don't see what Soma and Takumi's are yet. I can see Soma's opponent being the #1 second year though - hopefully.

 

I'm awaiting the inevitable time skip.

 

I've just caught up. These latest elite stooges from the last two chapters have way way way too unique character designs. Reminds me of Bleach and a new row of "unique" villains.

Alwys up for more Alice and doggy, though.

 

Alice and Soma make for an awesome duo. Both equally awesome and aloof.

Still waiting for Kurokiba to kick that guy's ass.

Molecular Gastronomy to beat the guy that beats Alice routinely? Gg bruv.

 

I started to get worried when they started bigging this guy up like he's more than some flash in the pan stooge, then Kiba started cooking something that even had the judges stumped. Started to think he's gonna pull some shit out that he learnt from his constant stompings by Alice.

 

It's actually a battle with tension, for me. On one hand, if Kurobika loses, Alice and he don't really lose anything meaningful. The stakes aren't particularly high, and Kurobika would make for a decent Worf, the sacrifice to show how this guy means business.

On the other, Kurobika might as well win and show how much he and Alice have improved and how they stack up compared to the new villain group.

So, yeah, win and loss are both possible.

 

That Kurokiba Soma stareoff has me hyped for the future battle between the two, which is probably 2/3 years away because life is a disaster.

Kurokiba crushed Rentarou, it seems. Damn right. The three finalists of the autumn selection have all been apparently working their ass off to reinvent themselves. No clue what the winner (whatshisname) is doing, but it's a safe bet that he hasn't been twiddling his thumbs.

I am glad Ryou won. Not that there was any real doubt. Those 3 are the rising stars of the new generation after all. Erina is too cute <3. Best girl winning constantly.

I wonder if Azami plans on recruiting Ryou?

 

It's been two chapters now, I think it's safe to admit that Ryou smashed Rentarou without spoilering it. Got an explanation as to why exactly that happened and some more information on what he's been up to since the Election.

I think it's high time we got to see more Shokugeki. For how much conflict is happening, there are precious little actual fights.

Sorta meh on what Azami's doing right now. Who cares.

 

Well, Alice once again proved why she is pretty much the best character of the series. Badass and fun. Too bad we have to follow someone else as the protag >_>

Alice is amazing, though, on that we agree.


At this point, I really, really cannot give a shit about Erina or her drama. So long as she continues to do exactly fuckall, I will continue to give fuckall fucks about her.

 

Alice is probably the best character in the show, but Soma is undeniably the better protagonist.

It's great seeing Alice-chan wrestling 'best girl' points away from Rindou's hands! :3

Huh, I find Soma bland, tbh. Granted, he is better than Naruto, Eren, Kirito or most of the even blander regular shonen protagonists but he isn't particularly interesting either.
