Who needs dignity, amirite?

Just bizarre, what's happening in Bleach. I mean, it's the classic fight formula as it was used in every single fight in the series, but Kubo decided pretty soon to make this as dumb as possible.

 

I am happy that we finally have the five war potentials pointed out. Even if it was pretty obvious who they where all along.

And Yoruichi is "Thunder Pussy"

 

To be honest lately I like Bleach more when it gets weird and unexpected which is why last few chapters were boring to me. This one though was excellent.

 

Yoruichi's ass made the chapter. Hard to believe she's only 5'2 and not even 100 pounds, did not realize she was a short-stack.

 

And the moment that we might actually see Urahara go all out in a fight draws closer. It's only been what, soon 14 years since he first appeared on Bleach. I swear, if Kubo fucks his character up after all this wait, I'll jump off this trainwreck of a series for good.

 

we won't get to see kisuke fight, because that would be satisfying.

And kubo doesnt do that.

Instead we'll get a few more nonsense fights, full of bizzaro out of nowhere reveals that are complete asspulls, and then the series will end.

 

It's convenient that Yoruichi's power, that we haven't seen until now, just happens to be the exact counter to that guys power and would be virtually useless against anyone else.

Not the neko ken thing but the recalibrating her reiatsu stuff.

Also, the last form of everyone so far has looked ridiculously stupid. Can't be easy to be that consistent in the ugliness.

 

It's now or never for Urahara to reveal his bankai. After that I don't expect anyone else to show theirs, aside of the new version for Ichigo.

That said, it would be nice if Kubo revealed the rest after he's done with the manga. Especially what hax bankai he had prepared for Aizen.

Well, there is his Bankai. So far, it's as dumb as most of the newer bankais (and some of the older ones) but I guess we'll see next week what it does.

Odds are, it's only useful for the situation at hand.

 

How is Kubo gonna screw up this latest Bankai?

I actually enjoyed this bankai more than most of the new ones we've seen so far.

 

I'm just really tired of weird-ass conceptual abilities that are impossible for the reader to understand any sort of intuitive limit to. Even Urahara's big-titty bankai can't make me bother to try and understand what's going on in the fight. For the past five years it feels like every new power just drives me into deeper sympathy with Zaraki and his distain for stupid magical swords.

I read few theories predicting something like that and in my opinion it's a quite good twist.

After this battle is done, it leaves just Haschwalth and Yhwach and then Bleach is finished. Probably not in this year, but early in the next?

 

Zaraki is a beast. Too bad there wasn't much content in this chapter.

 

I'm pretty sure Zaraki has gotten the single most straightforward ability we've seen in this series. Cut everything. Shikai lets him cut everything his blade touches. Bankai lets him cut everything without even touching it because why the hell not.

 

And his Bankai lets him cut everything without even touching it when its not released, too.
