Three wins in a row, three A+. What kinda dick do I have to suck to get an S in any form as support!?

My stats look ok, maybe in the last game I could've died once, maybe twice less. But 7 deaths over 3 games isn't -that- bad... I dunno. There must be something I'm missing somewhere for that elusive S-.

Still, overall warding wise I'm beating most of the players I play against in terms of placed, killed & pinks so, I'm ok there. Minimap watching, a burden of mine I can't seem to get over.

 

KS a few kills here and there to get an S as support. No joke.

 

Just got an a+ as support. Went 2-1-16 with taric. The enemy ff'ed 5 seconds after my death...

More relevant: Red is corect in this. the amount of kills you get is a big influence...

Started playing Cait again after her rework (yes i know months ago, I took a break to pursue Tagpro alright?) and im enjoying it a lot. I dunno why people always rag on her for being boring and useless. Like literally all my friends and all the people i play with are like Cait is shitty and boring.

 

I think the perception is that she's just a long range AD carry who auto attacks from the outskirts. She's definitely not useless though, try seiging a turret when after Caitlyn throws down 5 traps right in front of the tower, it's so annoying.

 

That feel when whole teams gets S's on performance.

 

Wait, that's an S- Caitlyn score? Must be the cs/gold.

When you are literally all of your team, your sololaners won't stop flaming each other and the enemy has a very fed rengar that wants to kill you every forty seconds.

Janna played out of her bloody mind keeping me safe.

 

Was feeling the ranked bug tonight, my jitters were pretty much non-existant. Then I had to disconnect 3 times in my warm-up normal draft due to my internet being garbage.

Virgin Media, just... I wish I had wired ethernet. I really do. Unfortunately I'm having to put up with one of these Wireless ethernet adapter things that chooses to drop out for all of a nano-second and your net stays fine; unless you happen to be streaming or gaming. Then everything just stops. If you're streaming it's fine, you can just refresh. League? No chance. You close the client, get stuck logging in as it won't connect to PvP server, close the client again, the get stuck on 'logging' in till you're finally able to get in. 150 Seconds later.

It's just frustrating and another reason to avoid ranked.

Ultimately though it makes me wish the Reconnect tool wasn't utter shite and forced you to restart the client from scratch every time your net blips. It's just disgusting.

So, there goes my desire for ranked for another day. But hey, we're getting a new champ reveal later today as well as a probable new PBE cycle on Wednesday so there'll be some exciting stuff when I get in from work - pretty interested to see what route they go with this new champ given she's basically an Earth Bender... With a bit of a grudge against Azir.

 

Oh that RNG vs CLG game. So good.

 

They chose to portray NA in an... interesting way in the trailer. You have all of these badass regions (Dragons, Wolves, etc) and then you have NA, and it's "He's lost a lot. Maybe this time he won't fail miserably?". Also that Caitlyn vs Poppy duel between Stixxay and Looper was amazing, regardless of which team you support.

 

I'm not historically a CLG fan, but I'm rooting for them all the way. Stixxxay has been really impressive with positioning (for the most part) and calm under pressure - I don't understand the rage boner they have for him on reddit. His Caitlyn is ban worthy in mu opinion.

Aphro looked great on thresh and is getting those targeted support bans, respect. Xmithie has gotten really good. Last season he was almost a meme jungler ("lol Sejuani ult whiff' "lol smite op"), but is really solid overall. Increased champion pool, great presence in the game and team fights, and that dragon steal. Huhi won my heart with the Aurelion Sol pick.

 

Stixxay has been really good, most of the time. But he has a tendency to make some game losing errors for no particular reason. See, against RNG today, when they were pushing bot T2. He was a Caitlyn with rapid fire cannon and walked into turret range where he got caught by a Nidalee spear and Ali combo leading to a lost fight and RNG getting back into the game from a shitty position.

 

I have to agree. He was very, very good late game, but there are moments that he shows how new he is to CLG.

 

All CLG have to do is get 4th place, and I will be so happy.

That was an amazing comeback against FW, at the 5th dragon steal and Huhi suddenly remembering how to kill people.

 

They depicted CLG as a loser because internationally they suck dick haha.

SKT bodying everyone: check.

FW gonna come second ezpz

 

So CLG lost to a wildcard team.

Again.

This never stops being funny.

 

And on the next episode of CLG's Magical Adventures of Fun and General Bamboozlement, we see CLG beating SKT after losing a hard game to G2.

 

Man, this MSI is so good. Supermassive beating CLG, SKT losing two games. It's really anyones game. Its exciting watching fun and unpredictable matches.

 

It's a little less unpredictable when you look at the draft. Faker's repeated blind Azir pick was incredibly disrespectful of his opponents, if not outright arrogant. SKT's win conditions were locked out by the counterpicks.

Likewise, the Caitlyn target ban made Stixxay completely useless. He's a solid player and fits well with CLG, but he can only play Cait at a top level. On a champ less forgiving of poor positioning like Sivir, he's fucked. Even with Cait he's fucked up and cost them the game vs RNG, but I'm honestly willing chalk that up to the pressure of the international stage.

A Caitlyn ban against CLG isn't good because Stixxay is so amazing at it, but because he's worthless with anything else. CLG really seem to be building compositions and playing around Stixxay, and it really hurts them when they can't.

Anyway, I hope that SKT are just sandbagging or fishing for information because one of their greatest strengths is their draft and Kkoma's coaching in that respect. More games and clown fiestas to come, if nothing else.
