    Sorry but I have to say this. It is irritating me for a while, can you just post links to gifs? Some of us use mobiles to browse this site and there is something like data transfer. There was like whole bunch of examples on previous page, and this one starts with one also.

    Generally, I'll only link to a gif if it's over 50MB (HOS's was 28MB). I much prefer to see them embedded - on both desktop and mobile.

    But please do allow me to introduce two new tags recently introduced, for your data-saving pleasure:

    [gifv] and [gfy] !​

    They allow you to embed .gifv videos and gfycat videos respectively - the latter will only play when you click on it, which is great for mobile users.

    I really like the "gifs only play if you click on them" thing, how feasible would that be for every gif? Making them open another tab or window just means I won't watch them though.
