Does everything I say come off scummy?

 

Reread on demon: not a super strong townread but I /think/ he's still town? If sloth flipped town I think it'd turn into a hard townread since he'd be unnecessarily attempting to lock down the lynch right now

He /could/ be scum bussing? I've had him mixed up in my mind with tmnturtwig and thought this was his first towngame; he's not quite lining up with his american gods play but was supposedly busy earlygame

Gun to my head read is town. If sloth=scum and we found another I wouldn't have issue lynching him though

 

Nah, you're doing fine.

You come off as kind of overly defensive, which feels scummy, but I've been there, and it's easy to get into a vicious cycle when you're town under pressure. Which you aren't, which is part of why I'm conflicted on you.

Like if you're town, keep doing you and having opinions and pushing them and be less concerned with how you look. This is kind of a "do as I say, not as I do" situation though so vOv you do you fam.

Hypothetical: Sloth is town. Demon looks town in that world for his recent stance on sloth. Von still looks gross

Font would have bothered to explain a townread to me on a player I wasn't lynching while remaining zipped about a player she was townreading who was getting solidly lynched

I can see a font/von world as possible. I feel like titus is out in that one probably? Von interaction still exists, font defends her but it's an unnecessesary defense.

Citrus getting in a snoot about my WH12 comment actually reads really natural and towny to me so it's like

font/von + kai or cobalt?

Anything off the top of your head to make font/von unlikely?

 

From what I know of Sloth, I would be seriously surprised if he were scum and the sole reason he was not posting was due to 'being scared to' or thinking he was 'relegated to D1 lynch', but that's just my 2-cents.

Oh also Jason's possible in that world? The townread questioning was good but it was also supernaturally perfect as an answer there; theoretical scumfont could push him to that answer

Font is ehhhh? I kind of feel she tries harder; not as bad as 13 but I'm not getting any sense of urgency from her regarding sloth

Titus the same I think? Proud of scumgames manifests different ways but she doesn't seem inclined to save sloth /or/ get credit for dunking him

So it leaves kai/cobalt and it's back at start again; Sloth+von/demon+kai/cobalt

I'm not leaning on meta to townread him. I don't have a read on him. I think it's unlikely that the reason he has returned to the thread is because he's scum who's given up, and I was exploring why some of the 'newer' players were deferring to thinking that was why he hasn't posted since.

 

Newcomb do you think I'm right in this not being a scum minded post?

Titus/fonti townreading Sloth but no sense of urgency regarding it is pretty accurate. It's a bit tricky with both of them; both Titus and fonti I think take pride in not putting their cards on the table (again, nerfing towngame to improve scumgame which is a philosophical thing that I disagree pretty strongly with but w/e).

In town!Sloth worlds I can kinda see them playing it this way as mafia - like if they push too hard on the townread maybe we back down and they lose a mislynch, kind of thing? I'd probably "expect" more boldness from them but subverting meta expectations is def. the case with fonti. Not sure about Titus, less experience with her.

Yeah scum!Von minus enthusiasm results in a ton of bussing IMO. In the last WH we played here he was mafia with Waco and LochNess and did basically that. Just kind of like "yep they're mafia kill them." I mean Loch was the LC who fired into the Priest so that was one thing, but he rolled on Waco too in a pretty casual way.

I mean just looking at it broadly, unless you're just completely wrecking me Acio then scum are kinda all three coasting to a certain extent, and weekend / RL stuff with finals is like 50% of the playerbase, so that line of inquiry is pretty bleh all told.

Like I said earlier in the thread, it's very very easy to noobclaim. If font is scum or any of the older experienced players are scum, and they're as good as everyone here seems to think she is, then I reiterate: Jason reads town, but could be a long con.

Noobclaiming has worked beautifully for me in the past. Wouldn't put it past scum to choose the newest player on the team to play that role here.
