NJ has good public schools because of some of the rural ones in the non-Camden/Newark/Trenton parts of the state (a friend of mine went to one).

Lower Merion kicks the shit out of both Philly and NJ.

Do I see any disparities? Of course, my dad has taught in both schools.

One area has a fuckload of money and has inhabitants that wipe their asses with 10,000 dollar checks (Lower Merion) and the other has people who would sell their souls for those same 10,000 dollar checks (Philly).

    It's why I'm a boarderline (ok I am a) Marxist for Economics.

EDIT: And this still doesn't change the fact that NJ is Trash, just like everything in the Trash Bin.

Trash Bin fics are just that - trash to the majority. Unless they get updated and cease to be trash, they will stay trash. If they cease to be trash, out of the bin they go.

    It's that simple.

I'll admit, however, that "trashing" a fic is kind of a heavy blow to authors. Not that they wouldn't deserve if they suck, but it's this rejection that is stopping me from posting my new oneshot "Skepsis" there. I know it sucks, but...

So...How does Connecticut fit into all that? :)

Connecticut is like the third nipple that you won't admit you have... and it really turns you on when someone gives it a little twist.

Back on topic though... yeah Trash Bin... stinky stories... I guess it keeps a lot of them from being posted a second time!

    CT ftw!

Because you all wish you lived in the Constitution State, bishes.

I wish I had a third nipple. I'd be just like Francisco Scaramanga. Golden Gun 4 life.

    Anyway, yeah...NJ sucks.

    lulz.

    ftw.

A few more complete sentences and a few less IRC acronyms (4 life lulz ftw) please.

As for the trash bin, I think you'd be better off adjusting your definition of "trash." One man's trash is another man's future ex-wife. Or however the saying goes. I know a few members frequently look in there for good fics (as opposed to what others may believe to be 'trash'). But the odds of selling the majority of DLPers on a H/G fic, or long in-depth Snape as mentor and father fic as a "good one" are pretty dern low. It can happen, but more than likely it'll just hit the Trash Bin after a few people proclaim it as greatness while a majority (including myself) simply can't look past certain things and enjoy the fic. We're just not that open-minded and don't have the desire to be.

No matter where a fic is (Library, Review, Trash), it's always the comments left that get me to click the link and read it or not.

Personally, now that we have a rating system, I see no reason for the trash bin to exist anymore. The main problem, that had spurred the creation of trash bin in the first place, was distinguishing between good and bad stories in the jungle of the main library.

But now that all the stories are rated, you can easily sort the library by the star count and browse through any quality level you desire. So, why the need to take all 3-star stories from all categories and spill them over to a single (rapidly growing) section? You can achieve that by simply filtering/sorting the library category you wish to search.

Dammit, who ruined my street cred? Er, what I meant to say was "thank you for thinking my story was worth saving from the trash bin, oh benevolent gods of fan fiction archiving." Yeah, that's what I meant...

BP, that was just retarded. Please have at least something useful next time, like LT2000's good ole "Papa Smurf" video, so that we can understand your opinion on the matter.

I greatly suspect that the woman in Mallrats with the edible third nipple (that gave her clairvoyant powers) was the most badass of movie stars with third nipples.

You know . . . in retrospect, was the clitoris in South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut inspired by Topless Fortune Telling?

Ah, now I see that what you really mean to say that is that pedophiles are really just largely misunderstood, you fullheartedly support the Trotskyists of New York City (who are rather peculiar currently, if you're not familiar with them-- their current motto is "W00t! NAMBLA!" [Which is NOT just from a South Park episode]), interspecies erotica and . . . Judging by the sort of ring strung from the necklace about his neck . . . Gay Marriage? Well, the more power to you, man. And considering NJ's new stance on its constitution, which allows civil unions for gay people . . .

I have to disagree with you there, BP. I wouldn't even go to Jersey for the donkey shows or the outlandish ethnic slurs. (G'bless Clerks 2)

I took a class in Interpretive Dance last year at Drexel, man, it helps. Everything has a meaning.

Judging by the shit-eating grin on his face, your good man is being blown by . . . a smurf? How . . . original. And advocates four fingers up the . . . ah, well, that's quite graphic. And you can get some interesting VDs (or as they call them now-- STIs) at West Point, but that's in New York, buddy.

By the way, about your earlier posts:

    OTHER IMAGES WITHIN POSTS

Please use your discretion here. If you find a picture that you wish to share and it is too large, you can post a link to it and describe the picture. And please, keep the pictures related to the board and keep them to a minimum.

    * No more than 2 images may be included in a post. Any additional images will be deleted.

    * Images may be no larger than 550 x 500 (width by height). That size is the largest size that will not distort screen width or requiring scrolling down to view the entire thing.

    * Animations are not allowed in posts.

So . . . first of all, both of your stills are too big, and second of all, your animation is not allowed. Thanks!

I hear that South Park was made into some sort of live action movie called "What the Hell did I just eat?" Apparently it was very funny, but I wouldn't know, because I accidentally temporarily injured my sense of humor in a tragic leopard taunting contest.

But with my now tainted humor-sense, I can determine, without bias, that Gio's post must be the funniest, because it uses the word "served", which reminds me of "serving breakfast in bed", which in turn makes me think of the problem that our friend has "in bed", which I have heard Blue laugh hysterically about many times.

But I must say - the Smurf blowing has got out of hand! It is high time we stand up and defend our beloved Smurfs from being blown out of various orifices (I dread to think of the possibilities).

I'd like to be a "rule fascist" here for a second, because I have to mention that in fact Bio's picture is 271,302 separate one-pixel pictures in a row, so the only rule he's breaking is the "more than 2 images" per post rule, which is never enforced anyway. And considering that was Bio that wrote that law (a lie), I think we can allow him a bit of latitude.

HOWEVER, that does not excuse Bio from his lack of respect to the proper authorities (he knows what I mean).

So let's go over what we've learned today:

    1: Don't eat feces. It's just nasty.
2: Don't blow Smurfs. They know where you live.
3: Don't anger Gio. He has your IP address (probably).
4: Stop Punching Donkeys. Once should be enough to do the trick.
    And finally....
5: Be more diplomatic. I think this one is a bit self-explanatory. No one likes antagonistic behavior, especially when it seems unwarranted.

    Is this a subconscious plea on BP's part to . . .
okay, I'll stop. But really, I'm just helping the war effort against those malicious criminals who break the rules of the board, because, you know, it takes a load off of their backs. I'm quite a bit like Mr. Jeram ^^^^^^^^^.

Jew, I like you, I like your posts generally. I know you said you'd stop but this is about your general attitude. Tone it the fuck down , yes you are a good writer and from what I've seen an intelligent person.

But in case you haven't noticed there are other good writers ad intelligent people on this site and they don't go around being arrogant and telling other members about rules, which if you've looked around a bit, are generally not a big deal. Bio posts pictures, they are funny, the randomness is even funnier, you'll have to get used to it because no one here is going to change because you have a problem with it.

So in summary, keep posting intelligently like you do but tone your attitude the fuck down.
