To say Stix is worthless on other champs is just wrong. He plays a great Tristana (arguably popularized rageblade trist), Kalista and his Lucian has been impressive as well.

I love the upsets in the tournament. Last week the main question was "who can beat SKT?" Almost anybody apparently.

I think we can say for certain that we live in the dankest timeline.

I'm trash and my predictions are trash.

I'd argue his Rageblade Tristana was a pocket pick that worked partly due to the team comping around it and partly from unforced errors by TSM. As for Lucian, he's a current S-tier pick and pretty forgiving of poor positioning despite his short range due to infinite dash works. Agree that CLG-SKT was all Stixx vs Faker, hot damn. Dunno, I'm probably not giving him enough credit for doing his job for the team because his mistakes are pretty glaring.

    SKTilt D:

If Korea flops like this, I'd like to see Flash Wolves end up taking the whole thing and tasting RNG tears when Taiwan wrecks China on home turf. :sherlock:

Ekko vs Poppy every match lol.

Man Huhi can't play Azir, but his Ryze looked pretty wild.

So, although I've been playing league for a couple of months now, I still have no idea about the teams and competitions in it- anybody willing to give a few pointers/link a few resources so a fellow can get a clue?

    Check out lolesports.com

Basically, 5 main regions have their own League with international tournaments spread out between the splits.

I sort of want to see G2 go to worlds and take another 2 week vacation for more salt.

More annoyed that G2 decided to effectively give up Europe's shot at a #1 seed for Worlds than the fact they played like dog shit, could be a very interesting pool draw now that we're guaranteed to face the top team from any other region.

Still, what little of MSI I've watched has been great. Flash Wolves once again stepping up to the plate for LMS & may finally show up at Worlds. I say that, they reached QF's last year (LMS I mean) - be nice to have another Cinderella TPA story though.

CLG stepped up big time too, Stixxay has tons of that dreaded potential. Just has to work on his early decision making I feel, it'll be interesting to watch them develop further through summer now that they'll have a potential 3(6?) games a weekend.

RNG and SKT though... Oh how I wish that match was on the Saturday. If that final game was anything to go by, it'll be crazy. Perhaps a tad more variation in top lane match ups would be nice... But we must go through this every meta.

MSI aside - Got the new Cass in 3 ARAM's today & she's just... Ass. Total ass. The new CD on her E basically means you do -no- damage at all. The grounding mechanic is awesome but the fact she lost her scaling, can't buy early spell pen and had her E gutted just makes her feel worthless. Maybe I was building or playing wrong - just felt terrible to play, very clunky to boot.

Renegades and TDK banned from LCS due to team collusion, owners being shady behind the scenes and not providing properly for players.

TIP also banned for not paying players.

Big time shit here boys, Riots pulling out the ban hammers

What a crazy week for the exports side of League; CLG beating everyone, G2 going on vacation, LCS teams being banned for attempting to circumvent Riot's previous rulings...

Now we know why the original players on TIP left, despite a very successful first season, and also why XWX resorted to eloboosting - none of them were being payed.

REN players have spoken up about how there was nothing wrong with REN's management though.

    Meanwhile, Lyte retires.

This is truly, truly the dankest timeline.

Personally, I think Riot's ruling on renegades has issues. Player management as you said seems to be very debateable and thats a big part of their argument.

Chris Badawi owning a stake despite being banned is believable, but the real problem is that Riot havent released any evidence to back up their claims. You cant just say 'oh we think they did it, so now we're banning them and costing them literally millions'. The lack of due process on Riot's part is really fucking abysmal.

That's a huge problem - how much money there is on the line.

But also, at the end of the day, the players are the ones who get the real shaft.

I take this to mean Yellowstar is rejoining Fnatic. He's one of the pros I follow and like, so I'm still curious to see what he does and hope he achieves the notoriety I believe he deserves, etc.
