against Widowmaker you could use D.VA fly up to camping spot and bam or teleport with Reaper or dozens or other ways you can deal with her.
Bastion can be tricky if you playing with unorganized team (they call him noob stomper for a reason) easiest way is long range sniping also Junkrat grenades,Roadhog can use his hook to pull of Bastion out of sentry mode, you could jump on him as a Winston and drop shield (you will need backup to finish him off though)

There are also many other ways probably as each hero has a counter and is situational, this game is actually pretty well balanced and maps are designed in pretty smart way (hint don't forget about 3d movment like wall walking, flying and teleportation) it's just that players need to figure it out :)

I meant in the sense maps they are BETTER on then others. Widowmaker does better on darker maps with lots of places to snipe from. Bastion on the other hand does better on defense maps then attack maps.

Bastion does better on maps with no Roadhog.

Well, between you, me and the Internet, I've already checked out VR Model Viewer which has Tracer D.va and Widowmaker.

I didn't have any expectations for the beta but somehow I fell in love with the game. Might have to buy it for both PS4 and PC.

    Sad that beta is over.

I don't really know what to do right now...

    Also: Hanzo all day.

She's one of the only characters I never use.

    D.Va, Reaper, and Torbjorn.

Reaper I'll eventually work with to get better, but D.Va and Torb I just can't stand.

I actually love playing as D.Va she allowed me to break many defense setups and deal with some hidden Widows or even Bastions :D
She is disruptor you maybe won't rack up big kill count but you may actually make big difference
btw. This is actually interesting documentary about Overwatch and how it was born out of failed project Titan The Story of Overwatch: The Fall of Titan and The Story of Overwatch: Return of the 90s Shooter
(edit:forgot also about this) The Story of Overwatch: 21 Hero Salute

My dislike of D.Va is really due to a combination of things.

Her playstyle just seems odd to me. I don't think I've ever seen her used effectively as a primary tank. She doesn't seem to have the DPS output of Winston or Roadhog, or have the damage mitigation of Reinhardt or Zarya. Instead she seems to be more of an off-tank/longterm-harass than a defensive powerhouse like the other tanks.

When fighting against her, I find her to be more of an annoyance than an actual threat, as a result I really tend to ignore her in favor of taking out more dangerous characters. Her ult also seems incredibly hard to be accurate with. Countless times I've seen her bot go flying way beyond, or fall way short of its intended target, turning a potentially scary ult into "let me just hide for like 2 seconds real quick" instead of the room clear it could be.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to shit on the character or anything. Just explaining why she doesn't suit me. Like every character in the game, she can be excellent in the right hands.

She's a disruptive tank. Her entire purpose is to harass and annoy and distract.

Played the beta with some friends, reached level 32 or something, and almost 200 games. The character I spent the most time on, by far, was D. Va, with significant time spent on Soldier 76 and Pharah. I didn't touch Bastion, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, Symmetra, and Hanzo, with minor time amounts (<30 minutes) on the rest of the cast.

The reason I enjoy D. Va the most is because she reminds me the most of the soldier from TF2. You might be thinking "But Dellez, Pharah exists..." and you'd be right in that Pharah has a similar play pattern to Soldier, and the rocket mechanics transfer over (nothing as satisfying as double air shotting another Pharah), but D. Va has the same tactics as Soldier, and the same fast paced, get in/get out feel.

Her rocket boost, with its low cooldown, is the ability that's most similar to rocket jumping in my mind, even compared to Pharah's rocket jump. Both have a much lower skill requirement than Soldier's rocket jumping, and I doubt that I'll ever be seeing Overwatch jump maps, but the Rocket boost takes some skill, and it achieves the same purpose of flanking or distracting opponents, letting you get in close, or letting you GTFO of situations you don't want to be in. It reminds me of jumping in on the enemy medic or sniper, killing them, then jumping out while they complain in all chat about their team not protecting them.

    D. Va also counters some of the most obnoxious things in this game. Snipers, you can just fly straight at with your shield on, then destroy them as they try to escape. Bastion you can do the same thing to, if you have backup from your team, otherwise you can very easily flank him (in most cases). You can deal with the big tanks, Wiston, Reinhardt and Roadhog, very effectively by just getting in their face and having just one other person with you (backup not required for Winston, you destroy him in your mech.)

And then there's Tiny Korean Girl, D. Va, who can be pretty fun to run around as. You can lead people around corners, you have better midrange damage, and you have better... taunts.

Soldier 76 and Pharah feel very similar, as midrange damage dealers that translate very well to long and close ranges. Simple mechanics, simple ults (in theory), simple playstyles.

The only character I ever get annoyed by is Bastion, because he can feel so cheap to play against if you're a sub 250 health character. The lack of bullet spread or damage falloff on his turret can just crush people. He's basically the mini sentry of this game, easy damage and almost no windup, but much stronger. I've never been scared of Torbjorn's turret, but seeing a Bastion sitting at the end of the hall will make me reconsider my direction.

The other problems I have are just with map design. Some can be quite dark, like King's Row, and some have frustrating map geometry, like Dorado. You're trying to dodge around someone's damage and you move near a wall, next thing you know, you can only move in one direction, you actually went into an alcove half the size of your character. Last gripe is that you can't choose what kind of map you're playing, I usually just want to play Hanamura and maybe some other attack/defend maps.

Best plays of the game I've had are a five man D. Va ult on Hollywood, a lot like the one Jon posted, and a hexakill on Gibraltar. The attacking team came out as six Lucios, and they blitzed the defensive setup. When they came back to the cart, I just gunned them all down.

D.va's plasma pistol is devastating once you get the hang of use.

Due to the travel time on the shots you can kite around objects and land your shots while staying juuusstt outside of the enemys range. It's a beautiful thing to kite an enemy and let them kill themselves on your bullets.

I main Hanzo, and D.Va in her suit I totally shred, even up close.

But if I don't get her as she's popping out of her suit? Nope, fuck it, let someone else deal with her. I ain't messing with some tiny, bullet-witch, Trinity from the Matrix bullshit. Uh-uh. Nope.

I kill Tracers and Genji's all day. But a D.Va out of her suit is pure evil, it's like fighting in a first person Bullet Hell game.

A few people here not using torb surprises me. He's, like, virtually unmatched on defence...
