Anyone besides citrus got an opinion on Demon's vanilla claim because that just does not feel like a move scum makes in this situation it's Trying To Help

I want to lynch sloth anyway. His reaction of 'oh, ok. how shocking you got a red check on me' is not the response I'm looking for.

For other people, Citrus' absurd level of defensiveness all game reads awfully (which makes sense if team is von/sloth/citrus), he's not trying to do things just impeding others from doing things.

Unimpressed by demonturtle's claim, but it doesn't feel scummy. Just derpy.

Not lynching Newcomb, Acio, Fonti or demonturtle & we're doing pretty well just on the POE here so it's like whatever.

But like, sloth/von scumteam getting rolled day one and he comes in and is just like "hey can I get a pass?" does not feel like something someone teamed with them does

Citrus can stay stressed, pressed and obsessed if I'm right with that off the hip read.

 

I actually disagree on Citrus. Like, I tracked down some of his posts last night I had thought were scummy at the time, but didn't actually see that in them anymore. I wouldn't lynch him.

 

I dunno about that.

The feel I get from his posts is he wants us to do something else but doesn't actually disagree with our current direction.

I'm feeling demon/Citrus unaligned for this exchange. I don't think scum!Citrus pings out a partner like that early, and I don't think scum!demontrutle is so blase in calling a partner scum.

This was an early response to Acio talking about Citrus's first post claim.

Kind of gives insight into how demonturtle thinks about claiming? I.e. claiming is just "what you do" to save yourself from a lynch. Thus the "I'm helping" VT claim. Soooo yeah I can kinda see demon town from this combined with the latest stuff.

Just so everyone is on the same page, Acio is lock clear for this + the later post he read where he called me and Acio town, I asked him why, and he didn't bother to differentiate the reads. (Although that last one has less weight if you don't have the knowledge that I'm town)(Although if you don't think I'm town, uhh what game have you been reading)

They all sort of tumble around for a bit and then don't really interact much afterwards; I think it leans more towards fake interacting than not? Like none of them talk directly to each other afterwards in spite of von calling for fights (immediately after sloth scumreads him) and sloth's questions in his citruspost

They all scumread each other for various reasons except citrus-> sloth day one and then today citrus is scumreading him without supporting it

I guess I'm also at I could see it either way, but it makes too much sense in a "possible world" kind of way to ever not lynch Citrus if Sloth flips mafia.

Yeah idk it's thin but I think Cobalt's town. The way he was just kinda like "oh shit forgot game started; oh look a bunch of new people, peace out."

I've never seen Cobalt's scumgame, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around scum!Cobalt being that breezy when that kind of thing got him a ton of heat and would have gotten him mislynched in WH5 a few games ago if Atum hadn't been the World's Worst Witch and assassinated him.

Hmmmm yeah this is a little late in the game for a toneread, but I really feel like this is town!fonti. I'm not sure I've ever seen scum fonti replicate this kind of broad strokes gamesolving without it being laced with barbs, if that makes sense. Plus I /agree/ with almost all of that, so...

If I had to hang my "Miner is town" read on one post, it would be this one.

But like especially if it's Von/Sloth/X, that X person is feeling some goddamn pressure D1 even if they're not suspected. How that pressure manifests depends on the individual - lurking it out and just hoping no one pokes them is possible. Throwing up a bunch of questions / diversions like Citrus was doing while refusing to commit to a read on Sloth is also possible. But the way demon was playing, yeah I just don't see that.

Yeah I keep coming back to this as well. I think it's only something to worry about if Sloth's town, so in the vast majority of worlds we never have to worry about it.

Citrus you were IN that game, wtf. And you were the one who linked it to me. Fonti's reaction to the quote was to disagree with me about how it was similar, then when it was revealed it was actually from a towngame, be like "welp I guess we switched positions." You had like - nothing.

Did you not even read the quote because you don't need to know Sloth's alignment because you already know he's scum because he's your partner? Because I kinda could see that. I guessssss I could also see RL busy Citrus who's playing fast and loose with actually playing and not reading, but like. It feels like you didn't actually read those two quotes I linked and think about them critically at all, or you'd have had something to say bout them especially considering you were IN that game.
