This sounds like a stupid question, it probably is, but anyways, could it be that you host the server on normal MC, and not Tekkit Lite?

 

The server could host a vanilla game, but most of us don't want to play vanilla, and don't want to give up our current tekkit game.

Ugh...Stellaris is eating all my free time. I have to purge all the Xenos and then there are those nasty Divine Salty Spiders that recently took huge prominence in the galaxy. Can't let that happen.

 

Yeah, this pretty much sums up what I thought the answer would be. I guess I'll be back to Stellaris now.

 

I'm not particularly attached to this Tekkit world. If there's consensus I'd be happy to go latest vanilla. Maybe do a community build?

But not until they get Stellaris out of their system. Shit's dead atm.

 

I would love to go for Vanilla (I'm not a huge fan of minecraft mods because I just get lost in them). Community build might be super interesting to do, always wanted to try.

 

I spent too much time to give up what I've done with tekkit lite, at least that's my opinion.

Going from mods to no mods is one of the more laughable thing I've heard.

I, personally, find vanilla minecraft to be incredibly boring, even in the more recent updates, and a lot of us have put a ridiculous amount of time into the server as is. A server reset is completely unnecessary at this point.

There is something to be said for a change of modpacks, however. Tekkit lite seems to be extremely limited, lacking some of the favourites like Thaumcraft and Railcraft, which is incredibly annoying when you've designed something with a specific mod or feature in mind, only to find that it doesn't exist in TL. I don't know whether the server hardware would be capable of handling more mods, but I haven't had any issues with lag so far.

Something to think about.

 

Hypothetical situation. So if this person goes and posts something about piracy then what would be your reaction?

Server paid for another month. Term expires on June 9th. We can discuss what to do then.

If there aren't gameplay improvement patches coming out within the next month, or no super immersive mods, then that is quite possible.
