The suspense is killing me. What could happen in this fic?

 

Nymph "Totally not a SI" Collins totally outsmarts the Weasely twins in an epic and totes loltastic prank war.

They both fall in love with her because she is so totally funny and smart and such a good prankster

All of the OC's cheer her on because she is so perfect and pretty and smart.

That sound about right to you?

 

Okay, so when I read it I just thought that it's some random shitty porn fic (and with incest, because why not?) and plot that makes you facepalm. Nothing special.

But...

Seeing just what the summary implies... and of all the characters...
why?

 

Funnily enough, I actually remember reading this a while back (I read a lot of shitfics). It's actually a pretty good summary, in that it tells you exactly what you're getting into from the start, without causing me an aneurysm. Ignoring the "!AdjectiveCharacter" part, the story manages to get across the major plot divergences, the main characters motivation, and the main characters role in the story.

It's better than a lot of the summaries I see on ff.net, in any case.

Maybe it isn't clear where this goes wrong, since the description of the story is weird, but not overly so relative to FF.net.

However, including the data in the story summary, this person wrote a 110k+ word story in a single chapter. That's just impressively incompetent, if in a manner somewhat different than the usual idiocy displayed in this thread.

 

I mean, the summary itself is pretty terrible too.

What indeed. How will this relate to HP? What type of story will it be? Nobody knows and I doubt anyone cares enough to find out, especially considering the aforementioned issue.

 

Beyond that, it's very clearly plagiarized. Like... what? I don't get it. He even bothered to tag Harry, Hermione, and Ron as characters (they don't appear, btw). I know it's not completely unheard of for other fanfics to get stolen, but original fiction? And a rather obscure e-book, at that.

Either the author is employing a rather... unique... marketing strategy, or... actually, I have no idea. Why would anyone bother to do this? It makes literally no sense. Even less sense than plagiarizing other fanfics. There is no gain, whatsoever.
