At least some of the ships we hate (Harry/Ginny, Ron/Anybody) have canon support, but the only reason Draco/Anybody has support is because omg he's like so hawt!

That's the only realistic way those two will ever get involved in fanfic and it ain't happening at all in canon. 99.99999% of Draco/Hermione fics are ones where he rapes her (and she subsequently falls in love with him in many of them *gag*). How charming... I just know every little girl dreams of the day when she's all grown up (or not) and can get raped by the racist fanatic of her dreams. Honestly, I don't even see why people think this is a pairing! If you ask me, it's more of a random idea that was created out of bordem! There is no way in heaven or hell that Draco would ever fall in love with Hermione.

Not much I can say that hasn't already been said. However, Herman would have to be kidnapped for longer than a day or two to start suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. You know how you don't always make friends with someone in the first second? Yeah. Same concept.

 

Draco/Anybody on the light side is NOTHING like Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet was about two people trying to defeat their families hatred of each other. Not Romeo wanting to kill Juliet and her entire family and anybody friendly with her but oh wait all of a sudden he LOVES her.

And it's been said before, but Romeo and Juliet both end up DEAD.
