I've been trying out this fizz build I got from Marin where he goes 12-18-0 with TLD and triforce first into tank that's been really fun. It reminds me of the old Bork fizz that was popular before the iot changes.

It's definetly effective at low ELO though, I've climbed back to silver 1 thanks to it!

Finally made it back to Gold V on my main account after an embarassing 0-3 on my first promo.

Wasn't entirely my fault the first game, the second and third was just my rust from not playing competitively in almost 2 years.

Singed is hidden op. Went 7-2 on Singed on my main when I had to play top.

Been fooling around with Malzahar top too. It's pretty good against all the melee tanks that are everywhere, but you have to play very passive until you get some items.

Also, shit tons of high Golds and Plat 5s who are absolute shit at this game. Cough boosted cough.

edit: They probably aren't boosted. It's probably just the LP inflation from playing a ton of games.
This one guy literally had 600+ games played with a 48 or 49% win rate and was in Gold 1.

 

I do! And so does most of the league of legends subreddit. I think it's pretty common.

 

I just want this damn 'build full tank and do obscene amounts of damage' meta to end.

I can't even play my BB jinx anymore because you just get dove on and eaten alive if you take so much as the slightest step forward.

I don't quite know how to feel about my latest ranked game.

My team was down 23 kills to 5 at 20 minutes, but their team of Akali, Malphite, Lee, Janna and Ez did not get a single kill on our team of Tank Ekko, Leona, Trundle, Volibear and Graves past that mark. Tanks OP I guess.

Also, after Akali got 8 kills early, there were literally 5 pink wards placed every time she used her shroud. I'm kind of amazed.

 

Went into the final game of my series to get back into Gold as a Kayle vs Pantheon up at top lane, and my god I think I found the most annoying matchup for Kayle. Only started maining her about two or three weeks back, so it was my first time facing it. Thankfully he fucked up by running through his Corruption Flask to refund mana and keep poking instead of saving it for when he could regen health too and I managed to get a kill on him early.

He was still able to zone me out from farming entirely though, and I started falling behind in farm really bad before I managed to get another kill on him when he tried diving me after I used my ult to survive a gank. Started being able to trade a bit more evenly after I finished off my Nashor's Tooth but I was still struggling when I mentioned it was my final game in the series for Gold in /all chat, and he said "really?" and then started feeding.

I'm not fully sure as he didn't say he was or be blatant about it, but the timing between him kicking my ass and then ulting into 3v1s repeatedly was a bit conspicuous. He'd be in the fights, but kept going for tanks instead of our squishies even when Vayne was right in front of him, and just generally started playing a lot worse than he had when we fought in top lane.

We ended up wining, but it feels strange to know that it might be because this guy took a dive to help me get into Gold.

 

Pantheon is indeed a horrible matchup for kayle (and a lot of champions). The only way to play the lane is safely - you have to pick up as much cs as possible and outscale him, because he can duel and kill you up until you have two items. Past that point, ult his stun combo and he can't do anything, since you tear through him before he gets it up again. Be wary of overextending or overchasing, since he can punish both of those extremely hard, and take teleport either to match his global presence or make plays of your own.

Armour runes are a must, and honestly, cloth+4pots is probably the best starting item, since it gives you great sustain and lowers his damage on you. You can then pick up another one or build it into an armguard, and then continue with your regular build.

This reminds me, I need to finish up the matchups for my guide. I'll get on that.

my rank is a yoyo. going to silver1 then down to bronze 3, then back up to silver and bronze 3. XD tought at the moment im bronze 1. after yesterday climb

 

Just went on a 7 win streak to get from Silver 3 to Silver 1 in a day. Feels nice.

Gold, here I come.

 

Failed my promos for the fifth time in a row before I went on a win streak (carrying with Ori Lulu and Viktor, feeding with Cait, and being relegated to a Darius shield bot as Karma). Finally Gold.

 

So, I played two games as Singed top yesterday. Vs a Kennen, and then a Vayne

First game, Mid lane dies before 3 minutes to Fizz, Nid jungler goes in, misses spear, has to flash out. Then Nid comes top, misses spear again, and jumps in to feed red buff to Kennen. I did nothing this entire game. Kennen did nothing in the other lanes.
Fizz is godlike by 15 minutes, game is over by 20 mins.

Second game, vs a Vayne top. This time my mid and bot lane get something like 15 out of 20 kills in 20 mins. Me an Vayne did almost nothing the entire game.

Solo queue is so unbalanced, it's silly. I had literally no meaningful impact or chance to affect the rest of the game. It's all about early game lane dominance.

Should mention, this was Gold IV

I decayed down from plat 1 to plat 5 after about a two month period of not playing ranked, and now I'm stuck in what seems like a perpetual loop of attaining promos, failing them and reattaining them a game after. It's rather frustrating, seeing I was at the verge of entering diamond before I stopped playing.

I just want my shiny new border dammit.
