Luna looks really good. I was sort of hesitant about her to begin with, but she's got the perfect voice. Disappointingly, I didn't really like Bellatrix. HBC is very good, but a lot of the duelling scenes looked awful, and the snippets they showed of her weren't too great. I just hope she manages to make Bellatrix as menacing as she should be.

I didnt picture Bella that way but it still works also luna fits the part well the voice fits well

 

I have but one small, humble question: Who the hell cast Helen as Bella? I mean, don't get me wrong I love her and she's a great actress but who the fuck casted her?

 

I like Luna character(Evanna) and her voice is just how I imagined it ,though this wasn't what I pictured Bella as looking like.

Does anyone think that umbitche's character should have looked more toad-like?

Well, they actually cast someone else (a Helen McCrory, I believe) but she got pregnant and would have been showing quite a bit by the time they filmed her fight scenes. Helena was sort of a last minute substitute.

It's called a condom people! They aren't hard to use.

Anyway, I don't think Carter is a bad choice, considering how variable the acting of the leads have been throughout the HP movies, I'd say that her performance will mostly depend on how goof the firecting is this time around.

It's not that I think she's a bad actress. I just don't think she is meant to play Bella! Her acting skills are great and she is one of my faveorites but I really just don't think she'd make a good Bella. She really doesn't have that dark sense around her. More of a magical and mystical one of if you ask me.

 

In the shown scenes she looks and speaks in a way I would imagine Bella. Haunted, slightly insane, but also lascivious.

 

My opinion:
The fight scene between Sirius and Bella looks incredibly moronic, as does Radcliffe's hair

 

I once saw an unedited light saber scene of Star Wars 2. It looked riddiculus. The scene will look entirely different when they add the special effects ... at least I hope so.

And Radcliffe? He has nothing to do with Harry Potter. He's just one of that annoying MarySues or GaryStues or whatever.

 

Luna fits. I think... Ill watch the movie just for the Luna-Harry interaction scenes.
