On a similar topic, I'm looking for any Harry/Daphne pairings with over 100k words. Any suggestions for good ones?

 

FFnet search engine allows you to limit your search to 100K+ stories and characters and pairings...

Anyways, there's some decent stuff out there. Maybe start with James Spookie's stories, he ships Harry/Daphne.

 

James Spookie has a bunch of stories, but they're all interchangeable with the same tired plot and needless cliches, so honestly, I suggest avoiding all of them. TBF, the only HP/DG story over 100k words that I can think of that isn't complete dogshit is Unatoned, but as that's written by the the Most Exalted Royal Modship of Sesc, chances are everyone who is even tangentially interested in that pairing has read it.

 

I've actually been through a good portion of those, was hoping to find ones that for some reason didn't list Harry or Daphne as characters and so didn't come up in the search

I remember this fic in which Harry is sent back in time with memories of three wizards, tried searching but can't seem to find any. There was probably an Italian witch/wizard that shares memories too..

does anyone know of a story where harry goes into the marvel universe where he immediately becomes sorcerer supreme? Also the Illuminati exists with ironman at the head I believe. I remember the last chapter being victor von doom challenging harry for his title of sorcerer supreme. At some point harry also identified invisible women as being a skrull to nick fury. I suppose the author deleted it at some point but I'd like to reread it. I've tried everything (yes including google) and I still haven't seen hide nor hair of it. Can anyone help?

 

Trying to remember the story where Ron wasn't able to become Auror, he was forced to work at Arthur's department and was killed by the enchanted vacuum cleaner. The pairing is Harry/Daphne I think.

Ron's death is mentioned near the end of chapter 4. I don't think Daphne's in it, though.

There was a MoD!Harry fic where the MoD part was Harry going around killing immortals, as a 'claiming those who have cheated Death' thing. It was also supposed to be a dimension hopping story, but at the time I was reading it hadn't gotten past the first one.

 

Remember a story with Harry and James, where Harry was trying to find a cure for Lily if memory serves while James was working as an Auror.

Think it was on DLP but not sure, highlights off the top of my head to give a better recall would be James finding a Nundu aboard a freighter and Harry travelling to an underwater market.

 

I think you'll find that to be Joe's 'An Unfound Door', although it's Sirius, not Lily.

 

I read this one story where Ron and Draco actually managed to become friends during the Train Ride out of a mutual desire to contain Harry's odd sort of madness. Something about talking in length about fame creating insanity or something.
