I personally didn't have high expectations so I'm not dissapointed. Seriously guys what did you expect, it's just a play. I bet it's better if you watch the actual thing rather than reading the spoilers.

I will try to buy the script book anyway, because I'm interested in how the characterization will be. Scorp and Al sound like interesting characters.

It looks like Al is basically shunned by the whole school for being a Potter in Slytherin something that proves Slytherin still carries a huge stigma.

Yes, but it's different to be an orphan than to have parents that don't care about you. I'm not saying being an orphan is better, just that there is a difference.

Voldemort did have a father who didn't care about him.

 

Which he didn't know about for years. His mother died in childbirth and he lived in an orphanage until age 11. He's much closer to Harry's situation (that of an orphan) than Malfoy's (that of a kid with neglectful parents).

I'll admit that Malfoy whining about his situation growing up was one of the funniest parts of this plot, but whatever, let's assume it's true.

There's one good thing about this. With CC basically becoming bad fanfiction, my headcanon of treating ABC as the real post-DH version of events is validated.

I'm also not really following the logic of scorp here. His mother dies, and he decides to go back in time to go bring back some kid he never met himself? Surely, if you were in his place you would look at the idea of going back in time to bring Cedric back and just say, "Nah, that's cool but I'll do that for my mother! Thanks for the idea!"
