Hmm. Can I get a promise for a lump vote from someone if I make it into the top 3 posters by Day end?

Oh right, quick comment on those two walls that I TLDRed:
I will care about wei's wall if I start to think he is scum. I will care about delph's if I start to think she's town.
    That seem reasonable to everyone?

The posts that made me think tom is advertising lump for bad checks :

And him soft declining the lump early on :
The Bill Door thing was this :

    Wacos #160
Using this link so you can see waco quoting me in his post and all his references towards bill door.

    Toms response :

Will go back to delphines post next, there were some unanswered questions.

I think the thing with Delphine was that she was entirely unnoticeable. I was looking over the votes and suddenly realised I hadn't seen her in ages. Early posts make her as blank as Kai. The exchange with Jan was plain weird, and from both sides, but I guess I don't know what kind of judgement "pure having-fun" is supposed to be. What maybe sticks out is her only playing after prompting -- the first (and only) impressions came after fontisian asked her, and even her first read (Atum/town) came after fonti had put him into Town places. Then she dropped off the face of the earth.

The readwall has artistic value, but even if you don't insist on the tasting the rainbow issue, I get Jan's point. I see that Atum and Snowvon are Town reads. I also see that some people are vaguely in the middle. I don't see what her actual suspects are. Like, is Jan superwitch or just vaguely suspicious? The text has a lot of words, but no real judgement.

All in all, not too impressive. I'd probably put her below Kai who is Not!Bill but otherwise as blank as ever possible, and above Bill. Perhaps a little unfair, given that Bill is actually playing the game, but then again, the lurkers in games here had a history of not being Witches. And she actually is better than Riley.

As far other stuff is concerned, I'm starting to dislike mallorean_thug. Too aggressive, too grim, too annoying (sorry) -- reminds me of last time around. That kind of playing style just doesn't do anything for me. The only useful thing here was that Jan sounded genuinely exasperated, so I'd put mallorean_thug != Jan. Which means I'm biased either way, since my impression of both is now negative, but it also means I currently want her checked the most.

    Unvote
    Lumpvote: Mallorean_thug

Ok half way through, taking a break.

    Snow's town because Snowvon.

I think Tom's town here. He's transitioned pretty well to the posting speed we play at, I like his engagement with other players (notably exchange with Snowvon around #200 or so), he has the most posts in the thread, he lump voted me. Feeling pretty good on him.

Something about Bill Door's posts rubs me the wrong way on a weird level. Like it just gave me witch vibes for some reason. Minor chance Fontisian's involved in that circle for a sudden shove of Lump (see above)

Fontisian's read on Atum seems pretty reasonable to me, wouldn't bet many chips on it just yet if confidence were chips but it's a start.

Expected a little more from Mallorean? Seems like he has quite a few posts in the latter half of the game thread, maybe I'll see a bit more from him there and feel better.

I like the Kai and fonti reads here but nm else. I think I've done enough that you should be able to characterize my play as more than a single inaccurate buzzword.

That's not how I roll with votes. Is there a reason you didn't bring this up at the time?

Hi Sesc. Who are you voting right now (I'm guessing maybe Jan?)? Wouldn't voting Mallorean be a more useful thing than Lump voting, if that's where you're leaning at the moment? Besides it free-ing up the lump so you can give it to me and all

Mallorean: You mind giving a concise read on Jan, because skimming through your Iso, I see you discuss Jan a bit, but don't really discuss what you think about his alignment much.

    Like this feels really waffle-y

My vote is on Bill, and unless something really amazing happens and it's really needed elsewhere, I think it stays there. I'm going to re-read his more recent posts one more time before the end, but I'm pretty convinced.

Voting Mallorean_thug would be an exercise in self-indulgence. I'd rather have her checked, I think.

You still didn't answer me on why you thought that Bill didn't want lump btw.

Okay back. Going to continue on Jan reread and start a shorter one on Bill.

    Tom- Strikes me as genuine.

The fact that your first experience with playing with me involves thinking that I'm "not actually playing" after spending five hours on reading/writing/thinking about this game just yesterday is upsetting to say the least, but maybe explains other people's reactions to me.

Tom gave a read on Jan interpreting his play as not having fun yet, which I can kind of understand if he glossed over the first post being a joke c-p'd from another game. Was interested in seeing how that'd inform his read without Directing too much but it got lost in the misinterpretation of the word pure, and his read on Jan has very little to do with that now.

To be fair, when I gave my Atum read all of the posts I'd seen from fonti were the c-p of Newcomb's post and the post talking about silver as a lump color.

Mal is a town-lean. Jan and Bill Door are scummy to me in that order and Tom is null-scum. You are null due to you both doing things that stick out as more town indicative and more scum indicative than my other nulls, but are ultimately near the top of null at this point. My reasoning for all of that should be clear.

Random person i had no read on at the time. No reason at all.

Well if your townreads are attacking you then it is less likely that they are just frustrated scum that want to get in on the fun.
If I make reads like that and the attacks come from outside of my towncircle the chances of scum fighting a correct towncircle are higher.

My progression is not completely documented in the thread.
Early game I was playing videomafia when the game started.
I missed vons introduction post completly due to that and felt like fontis townread on him was just too early at the time.
I then rechecked his iso to make sure about it and realized that it was ok-ish.
The Sesc thing is more more something Sesc in my eyes should be vary of if he is town and sees fonti saying it. I know that it is a null tell for her, because she would say that to any cretin regardless of alignment (see ika and now tom).

Esp regarding fonti i will not give my read out early on because if she is scum i want her to be unsure on where i stand.

The difference between her von read and her atum read is that i know the von read and can understand it, but I don't know Atum well enough.
But I am fairly certain that she would not clear scum!atum like this in a w/w world, because other people would have an easy time doubting it, and she can't be on a scumteam with all of them.
That makes the read either a spew or just an honest read, in both worlds atum is town.

First part .. up until my push on kai everything i was saying about him can be taken as pure fluff. Not sure what you were talking about, if it was important let me know and we can talk about it.

    Here you are :
That is a conversation I personally would fake to distance as well as not get lumped while still being able to brush it away as trolling/fun.

And I would judge kais range of play as high enough to fake anything remotely fluff as scum.

I can at least see where you are coming from here.
I decided for most of what I said in that post before I went to bed, slept over it, swapped like 2 reads, but only minor things within the order and then posted it.
I did not want to talk about everything straight away because reads like the waco one are reads that, i think, are just self confirming in the long run, but if he is scum then telling him that is not useful.

If I am scum and give a correct towncircle just so i can be on the edge of it, then killing my partners and then leaving me against all those people i cant push on leaves me in a terrible spot.
If I have a partner in there, then i have better chances of winning, always.

Good to hear some of that. But it at least explains those parts.

Well that game had several problems for you, but your approach to the game felt difference, but that might be in part because dLGN was playing and the two of you were hitting it of pretty well.
Haven't seen that in this game so far.

I don't like him in general, but his townread on me is throwing me off a lot.
Considering that I am/was his counterwagon, him townreading me is not helping him, unless he believes he can get something going from it (as scum).
As town it is more likely for him to be genuine with that read.

He can't expect to not to vote on me, then place a blank vote on you and get a lynch out of that.
If you had any sort of traction at the time, sure. But him being the first vote is just a bit out of place.
