Eidolonic What do you think of town or scum PR's with like a oneshot use of a protection on a person of their choosing at the start of a day. Except town's trying to use it on scum and scum on town. And maybe give two town members daychat together so this doesn't devolve into everyone just saying lynch me pls.

 

This looks like the perfect way to get back into mafia.

If I run the setup again I'll probably fine tune it with some roles, but this is just a pretty experimental thought exercise that could be a little more light hearted.

Devolving into everyone saying 'lynch me' is kind of the idea, except scum get lynched on ties, so town need to identify other town and lynch them, or convince other town to lynch them.

We'll see how it goes!

We have 13 now, which is my preference, but I'd like 1-2 replacements.

It'll be 48 hour days, with like, 5 minute nights, so it's inevitable that replacements will be needed.

I have edited the first post with more up to date setup information, so refresh yourselves, but make sure to read the initial game post.

There will be strict rules enforced for this game in terms of acceptable behavior and lurking - reminder that you still need to follow the rules of DLP, and if you break the spirit of the game, or try to get lynched by being an insufferable twat to people, I will blacklist you from my games going forwards.

This is a game where everyone is going to try and get lynched, and you're encouraged to be creative - but play within the spirit of the game. It's still mafia, these are still people and friends you're playing with, so don't cross any lines.

I can't ban you, but site mods/admins certainly will if you get too uh. Something.

~Edit~ Major change to rule #3 up above, after some simulations were run. Setup is fine now. Ish.

50/50 at this point but I might be going off-island to do some errands and that shit takes all day.
