The game maxes at 40.

Hatched egg pokemon max at 20, and wild pokemon max at 30.

 

Been 21 for ages. Kinda cooled a bit on game until the servers properly stable out...

Hit 25, and evolved a few dudes who I've been working on... and got the right move on all the ones that mattered (only didn't on Clefable, but that's no real biggie).






Pokedex is now 113.

 

Wow how much travel did you have to do to get your Pokedex to 113? I've pretty much gotten everything from Chicago and I'm only at 53...

 

I'm at 115 and I just sit at Santa Monica pier. :V

so where i live a dratini farm has been discovered. its just a big moving mob criss-crossing a field every 15min or so. but so worth.

Pretty much figured all that except for Ditto and Farfetch'd and xp numbers.

 

I feel like I read this a while back already.

 

Can fire pokemon only be found in warmer areas? I read that they can be found in urban areas but I haven't seen one yet. Though there seems to be an unusual amount of water and ice pokemon in my neighbourhood. Especially considering there are no bodies of water anywhere near. Jynx is spawning quite frequently in my lawn.

I find that the environment of the location is completely irrelevant. I've found water, ice and fire pokemon in the same place near my house.

 

Not totally irrelevant. Water types aplenty near water. That's about it though.

 

Not sure if this belongs here, but I found it incredibly amusing to read in the papers that the inner city of Kassel was jammed solid with traffic and people who parked in the wrong places to get at a certain spot that is supposedly good for catching pokemons. The police asked them to leave but once they complied the next wave of hopefuls was already there and it took the regulatory agency to disperse the people with the plea to use public transports next time.

I do think that this is good for getting out into the sun though.

 

It's seems location doesn't matter appart from water and non water, although there are a lot of people saying hot places like Arizona have a lot of fire types while Europe has fuck all. So I think in a very broad sense it is true but not on a micro scale.

Where I am has no fire or electric types at all, the only ones I've had are hatched.

 

The solution is obvious then: Want to catch them all? Travel like Ash around the world!

 

Don't leave the country though, the second you do, all your progress will reset.

You can keep your shitty pikachu though

 

Pikachu reverts to level 1, and all your pokemon get "transferred"!
