    Zenzao's trap card changed my opinion on font. That opinion hasn't changed since. I'd still lynch Font. Switched to Riley because he's Riley, and it seemed to me font wanted to leave Zenzao alive so she wouldn't get nk'd. For Citrus I wanted to give town!font her way. Figured Font was coasting suspicion to avoid NKs.

    I have some opinions on her ubcracking, but not many. And I'm pretty sure they've all been brought up. (Jan and Newcomb reads felt weak)

    Citrus and his dumb quotes actually started to have weight.

    I've been approaching game with a POE perspective. So yeah, lots of nope.(also I'm lost and confused but don't worry about it)

    Hey Yogs, terrifying proposal: I'm going to be casting a town vote on somebody else in the F5. I am not a good player. I'm unsure on Rubicon and information helps. Thank you for your consideration.

    Ah the old "I make votes bad. Lynch pls" argument.
    Scum have made that in literally every mime game I've ever seen.

    Btw. I am not unserious with the vote.

    Scum don't have to kill anymore.

    Killing"save towns does not win us the game, unless we have 3 of them.

    I have 2, i think. (Cant count myself because that won't do).

    So basically killing on the 3rd slot of you townlist is always the best thing to do, because that way you still have enough people alive to talk the game through if we miss (and hit a mime).

    Doing that in final 5 and missing just makes it a 10 times more wifom heavy game.

    That and if newcomb is scum and fonti is town i can just rub it in her face for a while, which makes this a win-win lynch. (lynch town or make fun of fonti).

    Also no reason to hold back on any reads because scum don't have to nightkill anymore.

    vote yog
    [IMG]
    Fonti and rubi seem town to me as well.
    I will not be voting for fishy, newcomb, or jan today. And I will literally never vote fishy no matter what.
    Yes, I would rather do the tied vote kills a random mime thing.
    Well, really I'd rather just hold my vote hostage to make everyone else change their vote to avoid that happening. But same diff.
    Kind of want to keep yog alive since he at least wants to lynch me. Which is nothing but good for me.
    But whatever. We have to lynch some more townies first.

    ---------- Post automerged at 02:36 ---------- Previous post was at 01:07 ----------

    Hmm. Ok.
    fishy/font is an actual viable team. Need to think about this some more.
    But first I need to decide if I want to use Yogi Bear or Dhalsim gifs for yog's death scene.
    And we're never ever killing fishy anyway, so that team just can't actually win.

    Going to bed. Hopefully a third person will reach that 5 posts threshold by morning.

    So I think we can basically start building Scum’s coffin.

    Some people were wondering if this setup was balanced? No, not really – I think it pretty heavily favors Town. The main reason, of course, is that Town can win without ever identifying a single member of the Scum team. You might even say this was a setup tailor-made for my particular skill set, lol. You never need to have a positive ID on a Scum – all you have to do is trap them in a box of four.

    That box of four should contain your top two Scum reads, along with whichever combination of null reads / too hard to read / generally top players at least one or two must be Town in the unlikely case we do manage to mess up and lynch a Scum in the next two pulls.

    Here’s what I think everybody should do: Make a top three to lynch, and then list your box of four. Here’s mine:

    yogsloth
    Rubicon
    tom
    ____
    Fishy Justice
    fontisian
    Newcomb
    Jan

    Note that Scum will have a difficult time doing this. Obviously, they can list themselves on the top portion, but what do they do with their partner?

    If they list their partner in the bottom block and stick with it, they’ve guaranteed a loss – so will be forced to reverse course at some point, and that will be quickly spotted.

    If they list their partner in the top half to lynch – that will also stick out, especially as the first red-flip will cause great scrutiny, not to mention the fact that sharp and observant Townies will probably notice to scum-leaning players on anybody’s top portion.

    If they get agitated and simply refuse to participate in such a simple and obviously Town-beneficial exercise… well… that’s pretty much tantamount to lolcatting.

    It’s a lose/lose/lose situation for Scum at this point.

    Fonti's the only strongly town person left. That's the way to go for top odds of hitting town.

    I actually think I might want to lynch Jan, toDay, though. His reasoning for wanting to lynch me is pretty ??? coming from scum with the mindset I've pegged him with all game, and kind of in a flipped way with how he sees it as a win/win, I think there's a pretty decent shot Jan flips town here and if he doesn't, then he can pretty much only be with like... maaaybe Fishy? Yog/fonti, probably not. Tom, would be pretty sick but sticking with the scumread that long doesn't seem like a winning play. Rubicon, maaaaaybe.

    If we want to go the unalignments route, Rubicon makes a pretty interesting lynch. Him flipping mafia here would preeeeeetty much clear tom, I think, for the D1 "forgetting he was townreading Rubicon" thing?

    Fishy is still on the town side of null for me for his D1 Zenzao interactions, plus the way tom's pushing on him here. Kinda don't want to lynch him here, because if he flips mime, I have no idea who his partner could be.

    Don't want to lynch yog or tom.

    Vote: Fontisian for now

    My time is going to be more limited this week because of work.

    I'd like to be lynched soon.

    Otherwise, my top 3 is yogsloth/fontisian.

    It isn't, for the reason you stated. Any team of fishy + someone who makes zero effort to look town just doesn't make sense.

    You and I are seeing the game state in almost exactly opposite ways.

    I wonder why?

    Can we get that top 3 / bottom 4 list btw?

    Okay I'm going to be crazy and state that fishy makes more sense as town.

    (If fishy were my mime partner, I'd be guaranteeing our loss by saying this -- if either of us got lynched, the other would never be.)

    Town-Fishy can win by being endgamed 2:2 via the strategy yog pointed out. Scum-Fishy and his partner could literally never win this. I'd expect, at the least, some attempt to look town even if it didn't work. But Fishy clearly doesn't care.

    You think Jan will flip town? Maybe? But if he doesn't, his partner might be fontisian?

    Who is your one and only clear Town read?

    Or maybe Fish, whom you also have as a town read?

    Or maybe me? Except I'm LOLTown ya know ya know?

    Or wait... we can lynch Rubicon just to see if he flips Mafia so we can clear precisely one player?

    How can you differentiate "doesn't care" from "caught scum going through the motions"?

    My list for yog:
    yog
    rubi
    font
    ~~~~
    tom
    jan
    newcomb
    fishy
    By how much their potential partners are still trying to win.
    I admire the consistency.
    If you're really Scum when this is over and ya win it I'd like to buy you a ham sandwich and a slightly used hamster.
    Font has tried harder to get herself lynched than anyone left in the game.
