I was getting 1200cp at lvl 14. Are you trashing your low cp and evolving your top? Capturing you will still be looking at 300-500 but after evolution you should be well into 4 digits.

 

Did my lucky egg evolution spree to hit level 20. Finally, ultra balls. Not that they're gonna last long with how few Stops I've got around me.

Caught an Alakazam out of nowhere on my morning run, it was amazing. Hadn't even evolved my Abra into Kadabra yet, and I find a badass. Pidgeot was in the same spot a bit later on.

There might be something magical about that spot. Should set up a camp.

 

I have a magic spot 2km from me, random high level spawns, got 4 different random Pokemon there.

That feel when I have a spot literally 100 meters from my home where rares spawn. I've had Bulbasaur, Chansey and others appear there.

 

Trashing yes, evolving no. Doing my first mass Evo tomorrow. Just reached 17 without evolving a single thing. Going to start building my team after that - the Dratini spot was pure gold.

 

Went to a charmander spot, and caught 18 charmanders.

All of them were below 60% in IV.

Hey, I just remembered.

A couple years ago, there was that treads about game you wish existed. In it, I posted that I wanted a pokemon game where you could walk around capturing pokemon fighting other player in mock up battle and having gym in significant location, like a city hall. While the Parliament house would be region version of the indigo plateau.

At the time I talked about google glass and how it could help us envision pokemon in overlaid reality.

This site is what I've been using

I don't know how good it is compared to the others, but it's pretty simple. Drop in the species, CP, HP, and dust cost. It'll give you a range of values, and you can power up/evolve your pokemon to refine the results.

 

Welp. I'm now truly bored of this game. Too much ultra repetitive play that focuses on making it extremely difficult for higher level players.

 

I've given up on gyms, they need to re tool the dynamic there as it is far to heavily in favour of the attacker than defence.

I've never seen a gym held for more than 6 hours around here in the last week. I can drop a 1780 Snorlax, and have him taken down by a team of 6 cp>800s, it's a joke. If I could place a team I could hold a gym easy. And it would still be balanced. I could hold one gym by my self or be part of 6, either or.

Evolved a nine tales a ryhorn today. Appart from random 10k egg hatches the only evolutions I have left are the starters which don't spawn here, and like 3 others going to tier three.

Annoying to hear of these people in big cities that have pretty much all of them bar the legendaries.

To be honest the game is getting a bit tiring. Not being able to trade/breed/duel with friends takes out a lot of what made the original games so fun. Moreover, the sheer amount of bugs in the game (not talking about the Pokemon) make it hard to enjoy. I had Schrodinger's Pokeball (as I call the Pokeball glitch) nearly 10 times in a row today- which basically killed any motivation to play for the rest of the week.
Hoping that the patches/upgrades that Niantic revealed come soon.

 

So theres a thing in this game called "nests". Its an area that has an extremely high spawn rate for a particular uncommon pokemon. They are usually found in places like Parks.

I went to a Charmander nest. Depending on where you live, people are documenting nest locations pretty heavily.

I have visited MANY nests, and I have never seen anything like that.

Usually its 2-5 pokemon up at a time in a semi-large area...

That's insane.

 

This is fucking unfair bullshit, I have never seen a nest in my city.

 

My city is a pidgy nest...

 

Go to parks. I dont know what its like where you live, but there are parks fuckin everywhere around me. 20-40 minute drive if I'm hunting down a particular park for a particular pokemon.

 

Besides Pidgeys/Zubats/Drowzees, my city is also full of Clefairys.
