I hope it is staged. If someone purposely did that to me and i fell into a fountain, I would have them arrested and then begin the lawsuit for damages. Sure they will get a laugh out of it but i am pretty sure I will laugh harder at the end. A little tap on the head with the big pokeball would be funny, but causing me to fall into a fountain would be battery.

I'm gonna have to disagree with Xandrel. It's not funny. I don't really see any humour in it. Pranks usually have some misdirection in them. The best ones are subtle. This one was neither. Honestly, it looked the kind of things University kids get up to as Initiation for a Social Group.

Seems like there's an update for at least some portion of the userbase that includes an updated (semi-fixed) tracker.

 

New update is good. I have the tracker and it is a lot more accurate with out being so piss easy as poke vision was.

Also battery saver is thankfully back.

I think I found a Magmar nest yesterday, got two in about five minutes (having never seen one before) and there were more on my 'nearby' list.

 

I hatched 2 10 eggs and got 2 onyx, low cp. I feel robbed, is there a way to get back those km i walked.

Does any one have any apps or maps that still work? A new update dropped today but it is not very helpful. Put a giant compass that points you to a pokemon that shows up or a hot/cold indicator. I would like something that let you know your going in the right direction. I hate wasting time trying got find a pokemon but i don't even get close to finding it.

 

See that's where I disagree. I hated those apps that made it so damn obvious where they were. I don't mind a hint and suggestion. But a direct point me is to simple I think.

While the trackers are something I don't like but think are marginal in terms of fair lay.

My local gym was just taken over by the 4 best pokemon in the game, 3 of which can't be caught here and all maxed out by people under level 20. That is fucking ruining the game for me, the people who cheat gps to appear around the world.

I wish the designers could catch them and delete accounts. What's the fucking point.

 

Spoofers and cheaters aplenty, their streams started getting banned of twitch but it has already spread very far. At this point I've stopped playing, once again proving to me that games which progression depends on a grind is a bad idea. It's always going to be botted and few game companies can handle it thorougly. Niantic just isn't an experienced game developer.
