Curious. One thing I noticed was how snappy and responsive everything was...

ShitTOMD: Squenix emails me and tells me they couldn't process my UCE order because they sold out before I'd completed checkout. Which means the PS4 version sold out in under 10 minutes.

Severe underestimation of demand.

 

On one hand I'm glad that a limited edition was limited, on the other, it's maddening that scalpers probably got a fair chunk of them.

What's the difference between the UCE and DE? Art book and Noctis figure?

 

And soundtrack and more steel books and a ton more dlc and anime dvd.

 

I think i'll just buy digitally, and pick up the Noctis figure if I end up liking the character. I've already got a few other Play Arts Kai figures, they're really good quality.

 

I really only wanted the soundtrack and the artbook. Maybe there will be a second run, or a mid-tier edition without the figure.

 

GI's April edition revealed as XV with a bunch of new info... I might actually buy it...

They also brought to VII remake at the end. Only thing of note is that each 'episode' (for lack of a better term) will be of equal size to XIII in scope.

Brotherhood ep 2 coming out next week.

 

Well these are taking too long because all I remember from ep 1 are these beautiful fragmented stills in my mind from this one fight, and the ketchup getting everywhere.

 

If you're at all interested in the game, watch Kingsglaive. It's a 2 hour opening cinematic. That's not a joke or a slight. The after credits scene is the opening scene in the game (I think).

It does a real good job in setting up the game's conflict.

I really enjoyed it too. Apart from Libertus. What an annoying character with an excruciating voice - makes me dislike Prompto a lot less...

 

Got around to watching this. Holy fuck 100% agree that Libertus is awful. Who thought that was a good idea?

Lena Headey as Luna was so disconcerting. They probably just should have gone with Amy Shields. Whatever. Nitpicky.

Ardyn was the highlight of the whole thing, I think. He's like some wacky blend of Kefka and Genesis. And the VA is awesome. All the in game VAs are pretty good this time around (or at least have gotten to the point where they don't sound bad), which is nice.

I thought it was pretty entertaining on the whole, even if it was basically just a continuous stream of high-quality cutscenes.

 

A) FFXV "Omen" CGI Trailer. Prepare your body for the eye porn that is going to be splooging all over your medias for the next month.

B) After 10 god damn years, FFXV has officially gone to gold master.

 

I know a guy who might be willing to sell his ps4 in preparation for the Pro...

HOLY SHIT, IM SO EXCITED, AS I AM NOT GONNA BUY A PS4 ANYTIME SOON.

Edit: Ok, I can't see any info about a PC version. Is it going to be one of those Xbox/Windows hybrid games?
