I once read this bad Peggy Sue story. It had some standard stuff (Harry went back to fix everything, ends up in Slytherin but it isn't all bad), but I distinctly remember Snape had a group therapy session with the First Years. It turns out Draco was abused by his mother.

I know it sounds very bad, but I want to see if it crossed into So-Bad-It's-Hilarious territory.

Looking for Harry Potter Dresden Files crossover. I think Harry was looking his own soul pieces and joined some Wardens in going to Russia where he fights against red court vampires.

There was this scene where Harry is on top of a tower with bunch of Lords of Outer night and he kills one of them with killing curse before jumping off the tower.

I've been thinking about an old guilty pleasure fic which I can't seem to find anymore. Basically Harry leaves the Wizarding world and does scientific research into the nature of magic. He thus gradually exposes magic to the Muggle world, setting up a corporation which markets products using the 'new scientific findings'. Meanwhile, a shadow corporation introduces Muggle concepts in the Wizarding world. When the Wizarding world finally notices that Harry has basically slowly been breaking down the Statute of Secrecy, the worlds have grown so similar that the process cannot be reversed anymore.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the 'magic = science' trope, but I found the slow way in which the Wizarding world was exposed rather original.

 

I swear I have like passed it over like 3 times beacuse of its first chapter. IT did not seems to have aged well.

Sounds famliar, was it from Hermiones pov and in a essay format?

Holly Evans and the Spiral Path, Chapter 45.

 

Looking for a fic that was published around 2013 or so before suddenly stopping. The story probably wasn't any good but it has some nostalgic value.

Harry was raised by Sirius and never attended Hogwarts. In what should have been 6th year (I think?), the TWT is hosted and Harry's name is pulled out of the Goblet. Harry is then forced to attend Hogwarts. Harry is sorted into Slytherin and befriends Tracey Davis and a Ginny who ended up in Slytherin because of the Diary.

Tracey ends up being poisoned and dying after drinking from Harry's glass. I think it was either Malfoy or Nott that did it. I'm pretty certain Dumbledore was good but Harry and Sirius had some disagreement and thus weren't on good terms. I'm also certain Ginny wasn't on good terms with her family because of Harry and Sirius' reputation, being a Slytherin and the events around the Chamber.

There's a sequel, for reference. Which really isn't Harry Potter since they're in an entirely different world, but both fics are fantastic.

 

I'm looking for a fic where Harry goes back in time to Godric's Hollow and tells James what will happen in the future. Harry tells James that the future can't be changed drastically but stays behind to create a way to survive the killing curse.
Some other things to note is that Harry sends an anonymous owl asking permission to come in and tell his story. And only James is able to hear the conversation.Sirius and the others just watch them talk. That's all I can really remember about the fic. If you know the name I'd really appreciate it.

 

Right so I've used the better part of the last day trying and failing (obviously) to find this fic that I can only really remember snippets of, but basically it's Harry as a criminal going to Hogwarts and its from 1st year onwards.

Can't remember if this is part of this story or something else. But I think one of the first chapters has Harry being mentored by an older teen and this teen getting shot and killed after which Harry is initiated by shooting the gunman.

When he gets to Hogwarts he shoots Snape and also Draco, who later in the story acquires a gun but doesn't know how to hold it properly much to the of Harry and Hermione.
Harry is friends with Hermione and becomes Boyfriend/girlfriend later on.
Harry swears quite a lot in the story.
Harry is quite liberal in his use of his pistol on things that annoy him.
Harry is able to apperate out of Hogwarts much to the displeasure of Hermione who even shoots him later on in the story because she tells him not to apperate out of the Hogwarts grounds.

 

I'm looking for a fic I think I found on DLP somewhere ages ago but can't locate (since I can't remember the title or author). It was either a oneshot or a short multi chapter fic.

It was from Tonks' pov as I recall, but was about her discovering that Harry was a metamorphmagus. I dont remember much of the plot other then tonks being disappointed that Harry seemed to want to deny his ability, but it ended up with her seeing him using the abilities in the final battle at hogwarts.

There *may* also have been a bit about how he looks so much like his dad due to copying James face when he was a kid, but that might be mixing fics up. The first paragraph is what I remember for sure.

I don't remember the name of the story, but Dumbledore isn't evil, and the reason he wasn't aware of Harry being abused was Arabella Figg giving him the false reports.
