There's a special omake chapter this week that (1) asks whether Alice or Erina look the best in bunny girl outfits, and (2) shows some backstory between Rindou and Tsukasa.

 

I may have, hypothetically, just seen an... Adult comic with that premise...?

 

New chapter: Kuga is a little shit and Souma decides to become one with the bear.

 

I wanna see him dressed as a commando, covered in mud and hunting a bear.

Someone said "The way you are now, you can't win". In anime terms, that basically means Soma has won already.

 

Souma is pretty much invincible for this entire arc anyway. If he fails at any point, it's expulsion.

 

I don't necessarily agree. I fully expect Some to get expelled at some point, cue frantic saving attempt, etc, but I do think that it's too early for that.

New Omake: This comic continues to live up to its rep as being nothing but an endless parade of meat.

 

Let's get that shit over with. The more I see of Hayama the more he annoys me. Fuck. Just a badly designed character, no matter how I look at him.

 

Come on, I like him. Soma isn't very appealing to me, I've had enough of his type.
Alice is someone I wanna see more.

Love Mizuhara the Street Fighter. Her Dragon Punch and Hundred Hand Slap are ON POINT!

Stagiaire was everything I wanted it to be. By far his most badass moment even up to the current point in the manga. Loved it.

 

"Underdog shows everyone up." That's the formula for way too many anime.

 

... Soma is hardly an underdog.

 

Souma is the unusual outsider though, but this time there's no 'estabilishment' like in Legally Blonde, Souma is the wilde card and looked down (at the beginning).

 

Soma (and SnS in general) is amazing because he's an undeniable badass, but that is never sacrificed at the expense of conflict or growth.

Alice's Dad to be precise, who has a strong eyebrow game. Apparently the secret to bear meat is frying it. Megumi and Skinny Aldini are fighting Rindou, and I am way more excited for that match than Souma's.

 

The ultimate in American cuisine: fried chicken.

 

Alice's dad is my spirit animal. He gets it!

And I actually hope Rindou wins...
