I don't even know what to say. This is truly the dankest timeline.

 

ANX vs ROX is the only 60+ minute game I remember where both teams could be said to be playing well.

 

So, as I understand it, ANX is now confirmed to have gotten out of groups, and CLG and ROX are duking it out to decide which of them gets to do the same.

I repeat, the wildcard team is out of groups while the team considered by most to be a favorite could very well end here.

This is indeed the dankest timeline.

Time to hop on the TSM bandwagon. Just saying that makes me feel dirty.

 

It will be interesting to see what ANX can come up with in preparation for a bo5 vs a top opponent. Obviously an incredible effort to get out of groups, and really more than anyone could've ever expected for them.

The last half of the 1st game vs ROX tonight was pretty bad looking though, granted with a 9-1 tower destroyed edge at one point it was nearly impossible to lose, so they may not have been fully focused.

In any case, however they do going forward, Worlds last year had so few memorable moments, this is a nice change of pace.

 

And ROX's mechanical play was atrocious early on. But for the most part, I feel the game was well played. This wasn't a Complexity or Echo Fox style of long game.

 

Or C9. TBH i'd prefer FW or iMay + SKT than RNG, SSG, and Splyce.

 

My hopes for an entertainingly open tournament continue to grow against my best efforts.

 

This is probably as wide as it gets. This tourney has been pretty awesome so far.

Edit: I dont know what Prolly did to H2K but holy shit did it work. 4-0 on the day, smashed EDG twice. If this same H2K keeps showing up, they would very well advance to semis.

So if I understand correctly, TSM is out of worlds (again)? I know it just looks bad, but honestly, I REALLY hate seeing doublelift on Lucian all worlds long. You need to be able to crit people to adc 'properly' and the traditional ADC style has worked for him for a long time. Why the extreme focus on such a short range, vulnerable champion on a player who is well known for his incautious play?
