Harry was outside the Private Drives wards when his Hogwarts letter had arrived, so all the other invitation letters had arrived too (Dumbledore had set up mail filters to make sure Harry ends up at Hogwarts - great idea). Harry decides to go to Beauxbatons.

Nice idea. Harry's character is better than canon too, more powerful and focused on his studies. The author had just started writing the school year, so it's not certain yet whether this story will go on (many people find it hard to write without Hogwarts diapers).

So, it has potential for now. We'll see how she handles the new enviroment.

its an interesting start and i'd like to see where it goes. no real cliches so far except for the harry bonded to a snake bit and the bank bit. I hope they keep it up without hogwarts to sustain it.
The Triwizard tournament could be interesting

 

This is quite nice. The author hasn't overdone the French accent yet and it isn't very cliché yet so it's in my good books.

I thought it was there? I was still receiving story alerts for it. From what I remember, it was quite original. There's not many stories with Harry going to a different school early on. It would be nice to read more of this.
