miner seemed stilted upon entry (particularly in these two sentences ^). That struck me as less likely to be alignment indicative if he was posting from his phone. His response (and some ellipses-related conspiracy theorizing) made me want to vote him.

His Zenzao read in this post pings a bit because it's mostly narrating information about a previous game without highlighting what's specifically similar in this one.

Like, people talking to each about the thread is not "spamming" (though there is some spamming atm). It's playing the game, and extraordinarily useful later.

People chasing little things is also useful, rvs is also useful. From your statements, I honestly don't know how you plan to make day1 useful at all, and I can't tell if that's inexperience talking, or scum being unable to find coherent thoughts to say about teammates.

If I had to choose between lynching you and waco right now, it's going to be you every time. But I'd honestly prefer for your spat to end and get you on board with making day1 useful, instead of clashing day1 valuation. Thanks!

Idk if stilted is the term I'd use but your reasoning makes your play make more sense. Miner's had a bit of a tell going so far I've seen, but I want to see if he keeps doing it before I comment more on it

Seriously though, what asking all these questions got me is information on how people will perceive me and my play. This is my first game here, sitting quietly wouldn't have taught me nearly as much as all the feedback I've got for asking the right and wrong questions, people telling me what to look for, differing playstyles and so forth. I now know that I probably read too much the first few RVS posts because I've talked them over with a couple of other people and have heard their take on it. Contentwise I've not learned much more than I could've gotten in 20% of my post count, but I've learned more about the game, which is arguably more important in the longrun because I'm really enjoying myself and will probably be around for more games.

Also, Mal seems to appreciate my questions because of possible reads on all the people answering my questions, as well as on me, so there's that.

 

Human error, I was thinking Typhon replaced her not you replaced her.

Activity wise, she's posting as much as she did last game, though that's probably non-alignment indicative. I still think it's townie of her to call you scummy. But I guess I shouldn't cross out bussing or anything.

What a time to be alive!

 

It's day one. Nothing's happened yet, and I don't have any questions to ask besides the ones I've already asked. I'm trying to adjust to the crazy train-ride that is this thread, take in all the new faces, and figure out what I'm supposed to be doing.

I did ask why about this before. Could you explain?

Here's what I see from you that rings warning bells in my head: you jump to opinions almost immediately. You've already told everyone you're convinced Bill Door is scum based on the merit of one post. Maybe you're right, maybe not - but dude. One post. I don't know whether to be impressed or laughing at that kind of brass monkey, but don't expect me to be drumming up the same kind of crazy suspicion as that right off the bat.

Ohh, I see. You don't like me, do you? I suppose it's a bit of a culture shock to have moderator attention on this subforum. Right now, the forum and this subforum are two very different places. I came here to try and help out the subforum since it's in dire need of a bit of TLC - that's why I'm going to be making some improvements to the way the functionality works.

Hopefully, we can get along in the meantime.
