Owner, I'd really like to thank you for putting in all this effort. But the snipped quote is kind of emblematic of why I keep thinking " . . . but is this town effort?" while I'm reading it. Like, when I'm scum, I just throw effort at the wall and hope I get read town for caring, but tend to lose some points on clarity and actually trying to understand the game.

To me, that quote very straightforward and not worthy of being brought up. It's sentiment was simple "Mods, why did you start this game on US election night, its killed activity?" with an added joke of "I like one mod (font) more than the other mod (snowvon), so I'll blame the startdate on just snowvon, instead of both the mods collectively".

You said that you understood the allusion to it being election night, but then instead of thinking the second clause is linked to the first one, you start coming up with bizarre claims about miner's role card? And not even theories about miner's role card as scum, but theories about miner's role card as town? And then you throw in a "I don't know" at the end?

How did you quote this and write a reply without coming up with the obvious answer? Why did you decide to openly speculate about somebody's role card in the case that they rolled town? This doesn't feel like trying to understand miner, this feels like "gotta effort and point stuff out" without thinking about whether its useful to town. And "gotta effort" is scummy. The towny version is "gotta solve", a mindset that would have nothing to do with this nothing quote.

Like, I just spent 3 paragraphs talking about some RVS, alignment neutral joke that everybody should have immediately understood, and this post /still/ probably contributes more to solving the game than a large portion of your pbp, because most of it is like this. I just picked the most egregious piece out.

 

Delphine is so scummy. She's hardly confrontational at all this game. It's not like her town play at all.

The green to yellow reads are still somewhat null to me. Like they have done townie things, but not necessarily enough or have done some other things that I find scummy to boot.

May or may not be on desktop for DayEnd, if I'm on mobile I'll try to keep pace but it takes the better part of two minutes to load a page. Snow still hasn't gotten that updated vote count but I believe we're still under soft lynch, and while I'm still in an owner/Maj/(miner/Bill/Citrus) world I'm leaning more in favor of owner's lynch right now.

On one hand, I do like that zenzao waited some before voting for me.

Mal kept saying he'd be willing to lynch elsewhere, but he made no effort to change his vote. I'm still wary of the guy.

Zenzao and I might have just been two townies clashing. I don't know.

I guess it doesn't matter now. But Citrus, I guess you can call me not answering Waco's question a crumb.

-If I said yes, to Waco's question that would narrow down who was the priest/cop of this game, which look like I was giving information to the mafia.

-If I said no, to Waco's question, then mafia would have maybe narrowed their suspicions of who is the cop done to me. But that assumes that they are paying lots of attention to me.

-Overall, Waco's post sounded like he was role hunting specifically for the cop. I spent probably too look on trying to figure out what to say there when answering his question.

owner, the only thing I can offer you if you do flip town is that your lynch will help narrow in on scum by the arguments you raised and the wagon analysis.

Mal, I can see the reasoning in lynching Proph but do you really favor that over both owner and Majube? Or miner? Because I can smell a flash-wagon in the making and I'm not generally happy with them.

 

I'm waiting to see votals so I don't accidentally hammer or anything.

 

Proph has forfeited his ability to be angry about dying to a flash wagon, with his "catching up" posts and then nothing. That's what I do when I'm scum and can't figure out which tack to take because I'm overwhelmed by how towny people seem when I know their alignments ahead of time.

And he's avoiding talking to me the same way I avoided talking to him when I was scum and he was town two games ago.

I have a meta read on proph and felt bad about palindrome, while having very little meta on Delphine

The meta I do have does not not really convince me that Delphine is playing the same game as the last one where she was scum and got flash wagonned on Day1. I happily led that one, much less comfortable doing that here, and I tend to trust my gut on these things. Besides that, she's mind melded with me on several occasions regarding you/your team.

She just looks the worst out of the first 4 votes on you in the case that you're town, and she hasn't been as impactful as I'd hope.

 

I prefer owner or bill door for todays lynch. They're the most linked out of our potential choices.

I mean I could, but I'm not sure he's scum. He kind of fits with the miner/owner team I'm currently thinking of, but that kind of seems to easy to be right.

 

Well, I'm working on updating The Machine so I don't know for sure, but owner is either at 5 or 6 votes now that I moved off. Hard lynch is 9.

Honestly this just feels like the game where I called out scum fakeclaiming, snowvon counterclaimed and nobody noticed, and I tried to give the guy so many second chances but he insisted on proving me initially correct anyways.
