Nah, you can go ahead and play.

Solo-hosting will give me more opportunities to procrastinate on yucky schoolwork.

I'm planning to edit this forum a little to improve it a little and ease the need for users to have to know so many rules. :D This includes:
    • Removal of thumbs up, except for the first post of a thread
    • Only the OP of a thread may edit their posts (and they may do so with no time limit)
    • Potentially hiding the 'Currently Active Users Viewing Thread' box?

miner11121 pointed out that removing the ability to give thumbs up means you won't be able to use thumbs up in this thread - sorry. It would require a lot more finagling than it's worth to get only this thread to work with thumbs. But on the whole, I think it's well worth doing.

Anyone have any ideas they'd like to see the Little Italy subforum adopt that haven't been mentioned here?

Changes rolled out. Let me know if you have any problems - if you can still edit your own post, for example. The active viewing users hiding isn't implemented yet.

Works just fine with me. Probably give it a test run with Harry Potter Mafia and whatever happens after.

Need a replacement for an off-site game. I was asked but am currently in a game so can't do it. Playerlist is really good, 12 players, moderately long deadlines is the only possible catch. PM me if interested.

Filled. Since I guess I can't edit in this thread now heh.

    So. Modkills.

Kai suggested the WH method. Too lazy to copy paste, but it's in his QT from Harry Potter. One of the Weasley twins.

I still protest that I should have been warned the first time I posted straight outta my QT, as I wouldn't have done so the second time that lead to my modkill.

That said I think the WH version suggested is excessively punishing to more than just the player in question.

Isn't the WH methos essentially forcing town to mislynch? I see no difference from what you did except that their identity is not revealed till they finally get lynched. It's also terrible if someone gets modkilled as the last scum is being lynched.

Borrowed Snow's term for it. This is what I mean.
That feels way harsher to me.

It is, since they either die anyway (and Town has to mislynch like what happened with you) or Town auto loses.

But why punish the town twice for a player's mistake? They're already losing a member that could be any role.
