I found DLP a couple years ago when some author was complaining about how his fic was being received here. I lurked for a long time, then I made this account. I forgot about this site until now.

 

I was searching for the 13th chapter of Harry Potter and the Boy Who Lived by Santi.
I saw that this forum had quite a few good fic, so i decided to make an account

 

Found DLP via Google. Figured I'd make an account here, maybe get some insight to my fanfictions that I have on FF.Net. Good fics, friendly community (for the most part), and I mean, come on, the name is Dark Lord Potter. What's not to like?

 

Came across Game of Champions (pokemon fanfic), sleuthed the author, found out he is still semi-active here, saw a mention that there was an additional chapter of Game of Champions in the Misc. Works by Author section of this website, and joined because that section is members only.

 

Found it googling for different fanfic sites back in the day. Lurked for a good 6 months before signing up, the introduction sub-forum was intimidating back in the day

Joined after being referred while looking for a Vesvius fic that I'm told is only here - still haven't managed to get to it but liking what I've got so far.

 

Joined after seeing people talk about it on the hpfanfiction reddit.

 

Pretty sure it was doing a Google search for actual dark harry fics when I saw the website. First thoughtime, there's an entire site for only dark fics sign me up. First post I saw was lie I've lived by jbern and the rest was history

 

Saw it being mentioned on the hpfanfiction subreddit and got curious.

 

I was recommended by The Santi while I was reading his story the boy who lived and have so far found it very useful for finding Fanfics of good quality rather than using a lot of filters on fanfiction.net

 

I first heard about this place in passing on another forum, and stumbled across it on Bing one day.

 

I found DLP through the C2 thread on ff.net. I got tired of how terrible most of the fanfics were on there and realized that several of the three stars plus were leagues above in quality compared to the normal stuff. After that, I was hooked (for the most part).

 

I found DLP because of the HPFanfic subreddit and Taure. I read one of his posts that I enjoyed, and when I looked his name up, it took me to this website. Almost forgot about it because I don't usually create accounts but I saw mention of DLP repeatedly on the subreddit, so I decided to make an account!

Was on a site called SW Combine years ago and they were like DLP c2 is taking forever to update on ff.net.
Thats where I heard about DLP

 

A story I wrote was once put in the recommended category here, and I was interested to see what kind of archive this is.

 

First heard of it in passing on reddit and then finally signed up just recently!

 

I found this forum because of reddit user Taure. I was reading "Harry Potter and the boy who lived by Santi" because of his recommendation and was shocked when i found out that only 12 chapters was avaible on fanfiction.net. I first thought the author had left the story halfway and abandoned it but later I found out in the post of Taure that I could read the rest of the story from this forum so i immediately signed up. I am not a native English speaker so I apologize in advance for my grammar mistakes.
