    Hm.

My inner Jan says that's too easy a thing to townread me for.

I think I've been pretty sassy since page one.

It was more about the fact that you employed sass when being directly questioned on your readwall. Like, whoever it was was calling you out a little, and instead of appeasing them by explaining why you put Jarizok there you're just like "because he's a wolf lol".

Quiddity's concern for Jarizok's low placement on Von's list does not ring right to me at all.

I think Bill is worse than miner, on balance. Whilst I like the content that he has supplied, the Koalas exchange wasn't great, and my read on his tone is less confident because we've got comparatively less to go on.

Still, I'd rather not lunch either.

    Right?

I like the idea of us meeting in the middle.
So much so that I'm calling you suggesting it a towntell.

    Bunch of wrong townies?
If you answer these questions I will refrain from calling this post the rare CFNR tell.

Somebody tell me why I should be townreading cobalt.
It seems to be entirely meta and I've never played with him.
Though I do remember vaimes/thug/citrus talking about that game (mm7?) a lot in off the grid.

Ok, I'm maybe in a tunnel.
But thats just not a townie thought.

The townie thought is "oh good newcomb will do the work for me"
Immediately followed by "shit what if he's a wolf"

    Or some variation thereof.

Like, I can see getting more active because someone else is. But not out of annoyance and guilt.

It's weird because you do a similar thing to me where you just put questions out there to see what happens.
But you don't jump on answers like I do.
So I'm not sure where you're going with it.

And then you're skipping to worldbuilding without flips and there's some missing steps and I want to see them.

    Yeah, that.

Man tom we're agreeing on a surprising number of things this game. I really hope you're town, that would be a kind of pleasant way to read you from now on.

---------- Post automerged at 12:17 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:13 AM ----------

Or maybe it's just "tom is trying to get townread a little so he's totes mcwolfy"

    That would be less fun.

    idk.

    But...
That's the beauty of townie omgus.
You KNOW they're trying to lynch a townie so you GET to go after them for it.

    What's the problem here?

I think Bill Door is maybe like, 5 to 10% more likely to flip wolf than Quiddity? But I don't really want to let Q off the hook for kind of drifting through the game in a befuddled daze. I also kinda think I'm right about that small quote making them not w/w so somehow at least one of them is probably town.

    Quiddity/Jarizok? Bill/Jarizok?

I think fonti, Von, tom, Cobalt, and Koalas are reasonably town, though that last one is kinda just a "sheeping people I'm townreading" thing. I thought Koaals had one really town post in the beginning of the game but since then he's been pretty meh.

Miner's kind of off on his own little island with a ton of posts but nothing that's really convincing me he's actually trying to solve the game.

I think we're always lynching in [Bill, Quiddity, Miner, Jarizok] toDay. So people should probably focus their efforts there and if you're on that list and town, now would be the time to make that fact more obvious.

Anyway that's basically where my head's out. See y'all tomorrow.

    There's your problem right there.
Tells are not some statistical measure where they all move the scale a unit of alignmentness.
Some are important. Some are bullshit.

That said I am just as interested in your cobalt negatives as in others' metareads.

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:33 ---------- Previous post was at 00:30 ----------

I don't want to lynch jarizok.

    Too much cop equity.

And I liked your bounciness analysis with miner. I'd like to see how he evolves over the course of this game.

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:34 ---------- Previous post was at 00:33 ----------

    Quid/bill are fantastic wagons though.
    Side of cobalt.

    ---------- Post automerged at 00:41 ---------- Previous post was at 00:34 ----------

So I'm planning a kill hoping it's NOT the cop?
    Seems pretty suboptimal.

    This is a loaded question.

This could be an important post for reading miner late game.

Too many to just be scum. Tbh I think it's mostly a wrongheaded townie wagon, with scum more likely to be scattered in the low-efforters/late one. Which points Cobalt, iirc, and also might push Miner above Bill, who jumped me early.
