Setup has been run almost 50 times across a plethora of sites to a ~55% town win rate.

It's a fairly swingy setup in nature that can rubber-band - town can feel like they're in a great spot with only a couple people who can be scum due to any claims/info revealed, but that means the scum remaining is possibly capable of souping the world.

There's a lot of subtle stuff town can do to screw with soup, like the infamous game where I claimed Priest (and the I'm the Priest! meme was born) in the first post of the game while dropping handshakes all over place (as the acolyte). Multiple soups were missed by scum that game.

Soup is a threat, but it's rare that scum wins by accurately role reading unless town has an inordinate number of claims. 1-2 claims is perfectly fine to solve the game - 4-5 and you're risking doom.

It's a setup that is still mafia, but encourages slightly different skills than standard closed games. With no role/alignment reveals, world building based on partial information and reads comes into play. Example being the vigilante - 'okay so the vig didn't fire, that means at least one of x and y were scum, or the vig is dead'.

Oracle that can confirm a world as being reality is one of the better things that can claim.

Knowing when to eat the mislynch and go down without claiming is the key to town winning, it's just really hard to be rational when people are being stupid and lynching you!

That's 10/13 with Regfan currently as a replacement. If he switches to /in, I can start with 14 and rand someone out as a replace. If he stays at replace I can start with 13. Don't quite feel comfortable starting with no replacements as I can't remember the last time we haven't needed one.

I can help out as a co-mod if you want the help, or else put me down as an observer. Or I /guess/ you could put me as a replacement as a last resort-replacement if you want but I will not be able to post nearly as often as I normally do if I have to play.

Whatever you need the most (other than /inning)

Actually I should be ok to slightly-less-begrudgingly /replace as long as the game ends before February

@Eido - Those aren't the statistics I was expecting for this setup (I was leaning towards it being mafia favoured) but your point about town intentionally trying to mess with the soup is a good one. I've never had an experience in full no reveal setups in forum mafia (Westeroes has partial reveal) but have played a few games of DM which has no reveal, the "Create the world" aspect is always fun & frustrating at the same time.

Sadly will have to stay down as a replacement.

Good on replacements, need 3 more players. I'll try a few off-site invites.
