What I am saying is I am taking an unpopular position in townreading fluff after scumreading them yesterday. So yeah I'm claiming a townread on fluff but it's only by PoE I still don't like their posts but once miner started scumclaiming it caused my reads to shift and after completing my read Waco is the more likely scum. As scum I could have easily just tabulated what everyone agreed and average it out. (Which generally works well for faking reads) but instead I picked what I believe to be true.

 

Thought more on it and I think other than this post itself I don't think it hurts us.

I think Oracle should out today if they got a result of "3" (ie. Miner not being mafia last night).

I think if we also get everyone posting after we agree on this being a thing we can 100% confirm that Miner was scum and stop this "World of 3/tinfoil theories' which will really help moving forward since I think that's just going to be bring up unneeded paranoia. This is especially relevant given there's no night kill and concern about the oracle being dead when we make this post. And in 0.001% chance he was town I'd rather know that now before I go re-read and base everything on the wrong world to begin with. There's also another 1-2 reasons behind why I think this is a good idea.

 

I mean, that's a possible narrative. It's believable, and like I find your play in D2 so far to be wildly more palatable in a non-alignment indicative sort of way.

But that doesn't really excuse it's shift from D1/the scuminess that characterized your D1 play.

I guess all I'm saying is the same thing I'm saying about Waco and Fluff - I don't like /need/ your blood in particular right now, but I'm fine with killing any of you if something doesn't convince me otherwise.

Learn to read. I'm only suggesting the oracle outs if Miner wasn't scum. If Miner was scum which is pretty much always the case here no one claims. My suggestion is pretty much to 100% confirm without any doubt whatsoever that Miner was scum with 0 claims needed in the process. This removes all paranoia and tin foil theories for no loss whatsoever.

I don't think we're ever likely to be able to get an chance to 100% confirm a flip as mafia without needing any claims to do so again. I don't see the harm in taking it up here. It literally just requires everyone to post like normal and we only see a claim if Miner was town which stops us going hunting down the wrong track.

 

Hmm. You're not wrong, and it is a corner case (Miner being town). I'll think about it, having a hard time sussing out if it's +/-EV town to out vs. just letting POE/a vig shot if we're wildly off course do its thing.

 

If we lynch mafia today and Miner is town we'll never know of such barring an oracle claim at a later point and at that point it's plausible that said claim is a scum fake claim. The only -EV part of the entire plan was me having to make that post to begin with. Now that I've done so everyone just needs to resume like normal and if there's an oracle with a "3" result they mention so in their next post back, lack of that occurring seriously aids us in removal of paranoia.

 

I really don't want to stop posting till I overtake Snow in posts because I've never even been close to being top poster before but I have nothing else to say I think. Kinda bummed.

 

Also Fonti if you're still around would love a response to #1235. Don't just lurk like DLGN, it's not a great look.

 

Like, I guess I could do my wall again but that doesn't really change. Having a hard time figuring out how much I trust fonti (and you, for that matter), and I don't think anyone else moves. I'm still feeling pretty good about there being two left in Fluff/Waco/Math.

Reg if you do reread Jari tell me how that shakes out. I noted in my QT during night that I only really had a strong ass tone read of him, but nothing with substance.

That's probably good enough, but he's my biggest blinds pot at the moment I think.
