I think she is town .. but there is no evidence to back it up (outside of my gut).

I don't mind people havin fun with some paranoia world for shits and giggles.

But her in a serious post making such a braindead statement deserves to be policylynched, just in case i am wrong.
She can call it fear lynch if she needs to feel better about it. (in reality it is a "because i can"-lynch. best kind of lynch!)

I have trouble believing anyone would soup n1.
Well she might, because fonti is someone who actually would go for an hail mary play.

But then again .. me being the first soup target means i am the person they were most sure about.
I know why people might think that .. but i softed several roles, why only pick that one? softed at least 4 ot 5 or 6 different roles .. maybe more that i forgot about by now.

I agree in the end that I am unsure why exactly waco should be cleared for a soup attempt.

 

Lol, I'll keep that in mind. I queued a couple up a day or two ago, but the opportunity I was looking for to post them never came up.

Very early on in the reread looking for interactions but Jaris "@miner11121 Which scumrole are you?" in #147 instantly makes me doubt them being partners especially since he scum read Miner at a time I was developing the same read so the comment makes a lot of sense as town.

Also going back through the early parts of the thread Fontis early town read on Waco coupled with them both having Miner as scum but voting/being willing to lynch elsewhere for majority of yesterday is troubling. The fact that I think a scum team involving the two of them would absolutely be willing to soup given the situation and her coming in and defending Waco for ridiculously weak reasons that ignore the gamestate make a Miner/Waco/Fonti world possible. Certainly something I'll be looking at more during the rest of the reread.

Correct yourself. Now think about what you know of Waco. He is a.conservative and b.assertive. This is the combination that prevents a play with a day 1 soup. Most players are only one or the other.

Insufficient. On what basis do you disagree? Miner is scum, yes? Waco remained on Math the entire day while putting forward stronger reasons on Miner being scum in comparison to Miner, yes? This makes sense as scum partner, yes? Peoples reads including my own at the end of the day were that Waco is very likely mafia with some direct posts stating that Waco is the avenue we're looking at tomorrow, yes? With all this information why does Waco not make sense souping N1 as a hail mary play instead of just being lynched D2?

 

On the basis already explained. Waco is town. His response to pressure as scum is to act town, not hail mary. Mathblade is scummier than you are saying and remains the likely lynch from a scum!Waco pov. She is also the one likedly to approve that play. Fluff is townier. And so on.

I don't disagree that Math could be scum here, that's not the argument. The argument is that Scum!Waco knows that he's going into today with a ~50% chance of being lynched at minimum, knowing that making a soup play is a perfectly reasonable move to make in his position. The "He's not that sort of player to do that" is the sort of read I constantly see people put forward incorrectly, I've seen dozens of games lost from it; it's about looking at the exact game state and seeing if there's scum motivation for it, there is from Wacos here therefore your reasoning for town reading him is nonsensical.
