Again Dash I don't consider Math a logical player, I think it's not impossible for them to make that claim as town. It's very very probable that they're just mafia here but I see no harm in waiting for a CC here, doing so means we 100% end today with a scum dead. If you're actually the DOB you hard CC'ing here removes you from the potential scum pool, confirms her as mafia and locks this as a win.

 

I really hope fluff is town, if only so that the Coven will have to really work at it to divine his role.

What's confusing about it?

Two worlds exist;
1) Math is scum; in which case the fact that Kai was active at the time of the claim and instantly recognises that DOB is a really bad role for scum to fake claim makes me think he wouldn't let this claim go through. I also don't think h'e be instantly jumped down on how the claim is bad.

2) Math is town; in which case he'd realise the play he's making will just make Math DOB kill him, again not a good play to make as scum.

So Kai is probably town regardless of if he CC's or Maths alignment.
