I think the Day 1 lynch target is always alone in the first QT, because a new one is made when the N1 target dies.

A new one is made every day phase so Miner was always going to be alone in Angel Chat 1, he was unaware that prior angel chats are not linked in future angel chats so he was pretending to be town for no reason at the end of the day.

It was precious fun and amazing!

You have to love every single post in it.

Esp after basically scumclaiming in thread before he died.

Oh and MathBlade miner11121 why did you guys claim scum/screw around at the end? Mathblade in particular kinda fucked my chances with that.

    I had the best soft.

It was weird though with mathblade, they're all like 'people should never soft or anything in this game, now let's go and soup all the people n1'.

Also newcomb, does it count if I state my intention to kill the priest?

The rules kind of got copy/pasted and aren't as in-depth as most games.
    Regfan

They're usually a variation of this:

    https://forums.darklordpotter.net/showpost.php?p=867763&postcount=2

Tl;dr version is 'only scum hunt for actions that happen in-thread, and respect each other', which seems obvious but it's a good idea to spell it out explicitly for situations like this.

you are basically donald trump in forum form.

therefore mathblade should have known that you are a dirty basterd.

But they guessed me. fatal mistake. just because I am old.

Reading the obs is hilarious. I really like unspoiled reacts, that's the way I always run my games.

Real game-ending mistake was, of course, letting that soup past me without even checking the first name on it...

Amusing looking into the things Math thought were softs, I don't think I even considered or even remembered which role I was during most day phases and think there'd be a few of us that played in that manner so it was always a losing play N1.

    So.

I got the next game. It'll be a closed setup of varying complexity depending on # of signups/interest.

And agree, unspoiled QT's are significantly more fun to be part of and read postgame.

QTs are easily my favorite part.

    ---

I'm impressed MathBlade divined that I was the Leeroy, given that my "I'm unlynchable" comment was 100% about me being an easy townread as town.

Oh, and since I somehow forgot to do it: thanks for modding, Newcomb! You did everything well and the write-ups were good. No big crises means its easy to forget, but that is the dream :)

Regfan, I don't buy you knew I was the priest D2, no way at least before Fonti had to push a potential DOB shot off me at the end...

I stand by the readlists I posted, especially D2. In fairness I was right that someone who seemed town off thw Miner wagon was scum. Thought I had a tone read on Von, have been fooled by Typhon before, and Regfan defended Mathblade too much. Especially as his case on me was, you were too efficient catching scum D1.

I had an aco ping on Fonti in the opening 100 posts (our early exchange) which is why I backed off that poke.

To answer any D1 question, I was dead sure math was scum from the mid-point of the day. Miner I was less sure on and wanted him to be the lump and check in the hope he was town.

---------- Post automerged at 10:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:56 PM ----------

Am a little suprised nobody caught my biggest crumbs, especially D2
