I think Fonti DOES want to lynch tom but in a planned bus....eventually. However she spent more time pushing Typhon while her vote was on tom supposedly. This is usually indicative of a bus. Trust me I bus and fake bus a lot as scum and it reeks of this.

The vote switch here by Vaimes indicates a general likelihood of tom being a bus and trying to get off Typhon. Weak unsubstantiated when a lot of the time Vaimes has been posting about Typhon being scum.

Considering it is on the Mafiascum wiki and I believe the majority of the time someone is passionate about their read then honesty or dishonesty becomes apparent. So yes. I told the truth last game about that.

Town Fonti avoids reads and declaratives like the plague and does short one sentence posts.

I have had waaaaay too many scum role PM itis too but it doesn't cause that. More specifically Bulletproof itis. 3/5 games had either one shot or infinite shot bulletproof which is a different complete strategy than regular Town.

 

If I'm wrong then loldlgn but I tend to think people have reasons for doing wacky stuff like the read here. I'm curious what his reasoning is.

Also, I have no idea if your read is fake or not, but for me, my font read is very real.

It's literally why I lynched her in AYAW, because there's no way town!fonti mislynches so many people.

tom, your scumrange and your townrange is so broad that I just have no idea what to tell you. I disliked the way you fakepushed this game.

I wanted Von, but since various unaligned people in this thread have read him as town, I'll hold off on him.

 

Its about context.
Waco would read that section of game and see me with a silly attack on him.
He felt no need to defend, and didn't jump on me when he definitely could have.
Typh, on the other hand, was under major suspicion and should have at least been interested in the "not w/w" part and wanted to figure me out because, you know, if I flip scum he'd probably be next for my redirect away from him.
Him not mentioning anything at all possibly belies that he already knows I'm town and wants no part of that.

It's the same read I have. And I consider it fake.
Which is fine. Everyone does it.

It's the same as "oh if ____ is town it will be apparent eventually" or "I want to just townread ___ for now and if I have to reevaluate later I will" or "its way too much work to scumread ____ so I won't for now"
These are all fake reads.
Everyone has them.
I'm just more open about it.

Yes, my range is infinite.
Yes, my motivations are strange.
But fake reads has never and will never be alignment indicative for me.
So if you want to scumread me, get a good reason.

Good ones include:
Setting up mislynch chains.
Throwing gas onto fires.
Wanting to policy lynch people.
Focusing too much on minutae instead of the big picture.
